This was the original version I recorded before I completely overhauled it (see version on "It takes a village album ). I wasnt crazy about it but hell I put time into it and completed it so why not post it up.

The core of the music is heavily inspired by Joni Mitchell. Its been spinning around for years in my head so hearing this song finally recorded feels good.
Oh yeah! :)
You were made to do this stuff... Now you gotta figure out how to incorporate this into the original songwriting... (don't ask me how - I can't do it either!!! lol)

FYI, there is a glitch in the number of listens on this track. The other day 70+ listens popped up from in one day from another alonetoner. Has this happened to anyone else? Strange.
Greg Connor added his amazing harp to the song. It really adds depth to it. I love Greg's playing on the song. Thanks so much, Greg! This is why Alonetone is great.

Ratatat-tat Drums
Me - Bass, Vox
I haven't mixed the song yet - it's really raw. Hopefully, I'll have it done by next month.

All about my business I just closed down. 'The Strip Joint', got myself a real job, employed & being paid !!!!! Mind you, most likely I'll have the pants sued off me & I'll end up a bankrupt......That's life...........
To much.political.correctness for a proper strip joint operation nowadays. Sonewhere along the line someone thought that combining a steak house with a strip joint was wise. Boobs, beef, beer and a boner! Not in that order.
I wrote this little ditty back in May, did an acoustic demo and then played it to one or two people. I always meant to do something a bit more, er, "expansive" with the thing... So I stuck it in the corner for a bit and forgot about it.

My instrumental cover of Christina Aguilera's song "Beautiful" I guess I am ready for the old folks home!!!! ...now that I am doing ballads!!!
