Good grief! I didn't realize until today that I had plagiarized the name of this song for one of my percussion tracks. Please accept my apologies. I named my track that because my studio was inundated with the little buggers during my recording session… I hadn’t heard your wonderful piece before. (How embarrassing!) Here in western Virginia, we have never seen anything like it before this year: they get into everything.
Great string work!
This is a remastered version of DJam, uploaded previously, with Darrin Kobetich on mandolin. Look him up on myspace, he's an incredible guitarist! I am playing a National Estralita resonator tuned to double drop-D.
Sort of more like a marmalade than a jam.......and I bet that does not make any sense over in the US of A cos' you do not have jam but jelly and do you even have marmalade at all ?
What a way to norse up a comment......oh alright it's bloody good.

apologies to pink floyd
back when I could access usenet still I made a newsgroup for amateur musicians and there was a nice group of 20-30 people who contributed and listened to each other's work. There was a woman named Emma who did a killer…
Cool! My favorite Floyd, makes me wanna post my version. Aded this to my PF playlist..http://alonetone.com/kavin/playlists/surrogate-band-pink-floyd-on-alonetone

Yesterday's Dreamer
Yesterday's dreamer sat on the sidewalk
Trying to find a way through his clouded mind
There was no rhyme or reason
To why he was feeling so down inside…
So MTC put out [this wonderfully sparse instrumental piece](http://alonetone.com/mtcband/tracks/shadow-of-myself) and a vocal line just jumped out at me. Then some harmonies jumped out as well.
i was trying to work on a piece for a shark video of mine, but this is what came out instead,, my piano moments collections are the small musical threads that emerge amongst/while i am working/thinking about other things,,,
How many nights am I just about to hit the sheets for the night and then a riff appears. I'll just rough record it but it always turns into a late night.
This is a rough demo recording of a solo marimba composition from 2000. This is part 3 of a 3 part piece [1. Once (marimba) 2. Twice (marimba) 3. Three Times (marimba)]
A blast from the past! This 100% improvised track was recorded in two passes in 1994 by Bassius-O-Phelius, a duo consisting of myself on bass and clarinet, and my friend Mark Bergen on Farfisa organ and Wurlitzer electric piano. It's probably…
Comments on kavin.'s stuff
Simple and beautiful, I like.
Drop-D tuning, Cap. And yes BJ the chording is direct influence from NY's unplugged Mr. Soul, you have a keen ear sir.
Sweet, well done. 12 string tuned in ?
I thought that was Mr. Soul acoustic my Neil Young for a second. Great version
you're so right
we certainly are.
nice
Feels like I'm in some jungle with Tarzan

Now this I like, I like very much, Great jam, sounds so very good.
Nice bluesy chord progression. Norm adds the percussive funk. I Dig the bass line too.
Yeah, that's what I like! Fantastic!
Great track guys. Norm, you are Mr.Percussion, and Kavin you made that sing!
Great job Kavin very cool.
Very cool!
Love hearing another take on Norm's cabinets. They are filled with cool notes!

Love this one. Really good Roger.
Yay! Now I can hear the whole thing. Nice Krautrock vibe going on here!
Yeah it cuts off for me too. Rockin' garage stuff for a minute and a half anyway.
Very cool Roger. A Tomita-esque sound trip!
Unique, dark. Old Pink Floyd comes to mind.
Thanks all, a few more to come, I don't have wifi these days so my internet use is sporadic. @Slkrell: it's an Edirol (roland)R09 wav/mp3 recorder.
So good. It's all here, the songwriting, playing and singing. Wow.
Nice rave up ala Yardbirds.
Very nice, gents. Love those harmonies!
Really beautiful, RL
