An excellent RPM

Listening to your recent uploads as I drive from Oakland to Richmond- it's a time I don't have people trying to reach me so I can really hear the music and the lyrics both. This song is fun to listen to and I like the concept. Nice chorus which makes me want to sing along.

Absolutely great song-writing. I won't say who this reminds me of (because everyone hates that, Neil Young, cough) but it sounds like a classic.

What's supplying the percussion? It sounds as if it's an old analog drum machine, but played live?

Although I think I like this version the best, a longer break in the middle (at 2:40 there is a short one) with some ambient shalalas would be cool, just to break it up a bit. Just my op., the song and production are great as is.
