Ditty #9 for the RPMC album "Bones".
I'd had this rolling around in my head for about a year now, and even played it live with the SD&Q trio. Didn't quite turn out as planned, which is not unusual.
Ditty #10 for RPMC. I really had a hard time trying to come up with the final track, so I fell back on the old loop/delay/ebow improv formula, which I had hoped to avoid on this album. Kind of acoustic Breaking Light. Well it crossed the finish…

My RPM challenge this year: acoustic guitar instrumental album with no more than three tracks on each tune (ok, maybe four!)
This one is a single track with no overdubs. On the 12 string, the 4th,5th and 6th string pairs are tuned a fourth apart.
very excellent,,, once a long time ago, when i lived in Del Rio i built a 6" newtonian,, at night i used to go down to the end of the road,,then on to the dirt and set up,,, with a dark sky from horizon to horizon,,,, wowieee,, Orion has always been a treat,, if you have a scope or even binoculars,, the sword contains one of the best of all treats to see,,, this is a really nice piece,, im on #7 for my rpm....
Beautifully crisp Kavin.
I understand your love of the universe. Tess and I were gazing at the crescent moon and Jupiter last night totally spellbound. Makes one feel very small!
I'm redoing this one even though I just re did it. With more content and absolutely redoing the vocals. Didn't like how they turned out as much as I wanted them too.
tracked 7 years ago, in the same vein as "A Brain Haemorrhage Would Be A Birthday Present".
-modified toy keyboard into a resonant filter with LFO mod into a Boss DD-3 DDL pedal, all tweaked as part of the performance.

There was this biker bar called The 2500 Club. Just west of Sylvania on Belknap. On a sign outside it says, "The best little biker bar in Texas." Guthrie and Rick and I played there long enough to get to feeling pretty much like family.

Has a Led Zep feel to it, great
I think it worked out just fine. If you tap out the creative well, fall back on what you know, and you do so damn good at it
Such a full sound and terrific tempo. Well played! Nice tones too, yes, lovely!

Mighty cool change ups, paralell harmony, call and responce. I can tell this has been developing a while . Trully fine playing and writing.....Steve
