I thought we were heading into Cash town at the start.....then we went somewhere new........thanks for the walkabout......Super playing...like a dream in sound...
#4 for the RPM Challenge.

Oh, so good. I always come away from your acoustic tracks feeling equal parts inspired and inadequate as a musician! I need to start studying your fingerings on these... It's about time I started learning how to really play this damn instrument.

Song #2 for the RPMC. My goal is to have 12 short tunes (1-3 minutes long), so I need to pick up the pace.
Again, quartal tuning on the top 3 unison pairs of the 12 string. I've been listening to Ralph Towner's Blue Sun, hence the title.
24 hours of music making for 2008.
Yup. This is a "Gaiman variation" which means that I stopped at 24 hours and this is what I've got. Not 24 min, but it is a "Noble Failure"

I do three things after waking up these days: I shower. I make coffee. I play this song and drink my coffee.
Nothing complicated. Nothing fancy. Just some basic fingerpicking to test my motor skills and bring some aural sunshine into my day.
Comments on kavin.'s stuff
There's a lot going on here! Definitely worth a few listens...
Very Yes-like groove. The ending caught me by surprise.
Damn- You're on a roll with these RPM tracks. This is freakin' great stuff!
erm.....a bit good!!!
Whew! That was fine, fine, fine.
Man, LOVING the acoustic stuff, Kavin! Soooooo good.

Incredible! I love the acoustic. A pro finger-picker! Hats off to ya.
I agree with Keith: inspired/humbled! As always, thank you for so freely sharing your beautiful music, kavin..
Hi, Kavin enjoyed the walk very much!
Perfect! A perfect image for a moonlight walk
Thanks MTC! I'm relieved!
according to Shazam...."Sorry a match could not be found for your music"..it must be yours ;)

Nice! Like that change around 1:20. Interesting lead tone you got on this one too.
...and their bright spotlights attract me at night. Here I go...
Damn! How did I miss this. Great stuff man
Your fingerwork is pretty damn great!
I am so A-440. I see alternate tuning in my future. This is some sweet playing.
I like that Drop D, fragmented chord sound. The harmonics were a nice touch too.

Re:Rewind Nobody Home?
The tranquil intro prepares you not for the electronic mayhem that ensues. Nice mellotron.
Hell of a good "failure". Is that Brian Eno speaking in the middle? The instrumental passages after that are stunningly beautiful.
Mind blowing. Smell the prog!
Oh yeah, love this one.
There's some cool songs on this list. thanks
nice peace.
Thanks yawl, but kudos to Mick who produced the track. His father's harp part kicks serious butt, too.
This one shows the fine line between celtic and bluegrass, I love it. Good to see you here, Mo.
And I second ACL's WOW. Shades of Michael Brecker. Nice tempo changes too.
Great groove. Love the guitars.
Very nice ambient. peace to all
I liked everything in this play list but this is a fave. Great forward movement.
Lovely!
Been enjoying all yer stuff, but these guitar pieces are beautiful!
A nice little album "side" with lots of cool textures. Especially like the mandolin interlude.
Ambient whale-song? Cool.
Great guitar tones! Love it.
These new tracks are great!
That's a hot little firecracker! I think I just blew a woofer.
