every moment
each day
searching
for something
someone
to feel
know
care
every face
each friend
rejection
and its too much
too much
too much
to bear
it's been a long
long
time coming
it's a long
long
way home
every moment
each inch of time…
every moment
each day
searching
for something
someone
to feel
know
care
every face
each friend
rejection
and its too much
too much
too much
to bear
it's been a long

it's a long

I had to give this a listen because it is one of my favorite Cohen songs - although I like the Rufus Wainwright version even better than Cohen's.
Yours is a very interesting interpretation. Something you have to listen to with dedication. It did not grab me immediately - but after a couple of bars you had me. And now I'll hit that heart button thing up there. :)
... again ... for Randy.
Memories of old magazines gathering dust on the shelves with things you never could let go of.
Dirty chess sets hardly touched. Empty bottles of cheap scotch you never could get enough of.
And it's a shameful world…
Leafless trees hung low in the cold.
I saw myself kneel, fall, die all alone.
No pity, no tears, no profound song.
Just gone.
The limbs of the trees broke in the wind.
Worn and old from beckoning, again and again.
But no god came. In the end…
Leafless trees hung low in the cold.
I saw myself kneel, fall, die all alone.
No pity, no tears, no profound song.
Just gone.
The limbs of the trees broke in the wind.
Worn and old from beckoning, again and again.
But no god came. In the end…

Just a simple song about a horsey ride. Little me and my Alvarez, recorded on a single cheap MXL mic., no effects.

Misty on my face is the love of gods calling me
Ice upon my skin made more painful by this solitude
Ride upon my broken steed…
... again ... for Randy.

This song is something special to me. I think it was special to John too. It hurts to miss people who are gone from your life, but I think it's worse to forget them.
"The out of body experience of traveling alone".
When I first started to play Guitar in April 2009, Geir was there to help me create tracks...
This is one where I put down a an amature track and he made something from it...

Great vocals and lyrics... made up on the spot, eh? The whole song gives me the feeling of traveling through a busy place unnoticed, slowly, inching along... great track.
I was just really bored, so I decided to record this truly epic song.
Actually, funny story about how I recorded this. You know those long, black, skinny, microphones you can buy at Wal-Mart, in the computer section? Yeah, I used that, and Cubase…

I really like your playing and vocals, and the odd tone the microphone gives your vocal is really endearing. I could do without the background vocal, but everyone has their own thoughts, right? :) I like!
A Friend of mine (Dave Passourd) is a very talented song writer...
But he never records his stuff....
His songs rest with the memories of those that are lucky enough to get to hear his tunes.
Here is what I remember of a Song that he…

I have to admit ... a little strange on the mash ... but your playing is excellent and I love the vocals and tone. Going to have to keep an eye on you!
with some inspiration taken from an old movie "Days of Wine of Roses"
Lyrics:
To have and to hold
These aren't days of wine and roses
For better for worse
These aren't days of wine and roses
For richer for poorer
These aren't days of wine and…

I was thinking this sounded like lively Wallflowers song... then I read the description. Silly me. Good track.
Nice playing, great chord movement. I like.
I love everything you've uploaded here, but after listening to them all, this little tune just sticks in my head. Keep up the good work!
Your sound and playing are both bloody brilliant. I love that almost conflicting rhythm in the picking.
Good one; beautiful melody, done well. I'm jealous of the honesty in your voice and your tone. Thanks for sharing.
This makes a pretty nifty sound overall. What do you use for the recording and mixing? Will check the rest out later!
