Work has been so crazy music has been taking a back seat. I might have to try this concept again to get anything done on the creative side of things. :)

Hats off to you if you composed, performed and arranged this piece in 24 hrs!. Some transitions might be a little iffy (03:29 for instance) but the whole track is really good, and while varying a lot, it stays consistent all the way; some parts are kicking serious butt (06:10+). And the whole composition is simply excellent.
Probably one of my faves of all the pieces you've posted on here. Bravo! Fav'd & Dl'd.
My wife is slowly collaging the walls of our studio with random sayings and images from magazines, artwork, photography, album art ect... so I had the idea to pull all of my lyrics for this track from the walls.

The song may be simple, but you should have seen the leaf. Being the first of it's kind, it really had to set the standard... which it far exceeded. It will be remembered as a great leaf.
Same here! My studio phones and my car are the best way to check stuff....one day when i get out of debt, i will get better moniters. I have always heard that the best way to check your song is to play it on the best and then worst set of speakers you can find, if both sound good, you mix is coming along just fine.
drip by drip..
I did the guitar and bass tracks first, then procured my 10 year olds cello for the main bass line :) I also tried my luck playing cello with a bow on this track- which was a new experience.
The trumpet and violin bits are played…
Good ole wah pedals ;) I think sometime in the future i would like to invest in a talk-box...why? i have no idea, i think if i ran my guitar with a synth effect on it, through the talk box to a wah....it might get interesting.

Since Norm found himself in an acoustically great room, full of unfinished cabinets I couldn't help but add some acoustic guitar, crank it up and hope you like it Norm!
A day at the beach and a moment of seeing past the trappings of the physical world into what's really important. This song is doing double duty with another Rock-opera concept.

Thanks man. I really need to remaster that song with Norm tonight. I couldn't sleep and tried to remaster it this weekend and it's a little loose. I think I could tighten it up a bit, and do a little more with the drums.
I wrote this song after hearing about an old medical procedure involving removing a small part of the brain which controlled certain emotions, thus making the patient zombie-like and thought it was an interesting concept. Emotional isolation if…

Very nice. Remember to train yourself to sing from your diaphram. It's something i'm still learning how to do. If you don't you can really mess your throat up. Permently. ;) Vocals sound just fine and track it tight though.

Wrote all the lyrics and most of the melody for this song in one sitting during a particularly busy period in my life.
Just an indulgent little jazz tune poking fun at myself... those who know me well will instantly recognise the lyrics as…
Thanks! Glad you liked my little "rant" of a song ;) I really like you voice, and the jazz style. I must confess i have no idea what you are saying but the emotion comes though. Anyway, thanks again for the listen.

Such good fun I do it all the time.
Single Gon Bops conga track miced for heavy bass. And 2 tracks of cow bell, of course.
4/4 200bpm
Deep and raw....I FNG LOVE this, if i could fav it twice i would. It would be better if you could play this over very large speakers in an ampitheater. Low bass shakin your knee's.
Came up with this Before bed last night.
Had to record it this morning so I wouldn't forget the Sound of it...
Live recording
I'll do a better version when I have more time...
Well.... Off to work for me...
