@Richard: Many thanks! The quick rapid tone was created by rapidly striking the mallets on the highest pitched (smallest)cabinet. Thanks for listening!

So nice. One of these days I am going to take one of your fantastic drum tracks and add something. I shoudl try a jam over this right now with the mandolin.

@Sha-Pink: Thanks! I have a wide variety of different drums - you can get one view of my studio from the cover of my "collaborations" playlist. Various congas, bongos, djembes, bass drums, bells and effects instruments... but no trap-set.

Seems a shame to finish those cabinets. Put doors on them and the wife will just fill them with dishes and useless stuff like food for the kids! They're such great instruments.

I used about half of the tones produced in my stop sign video as samples looped in Kontakt and improvised on an 88 key controller in 17 equal notes per octave. Not something you'd listen to for enjoyment.

Great drumming. Bass drum kicking "Son clave" pattern the entire time while he works on the snare/cymbals... this is very difficult (for me) to do - probably why I don't play trap-set.
I wanted to see how much "music" I could get out of one chord and four notes. Sorry that it has a sort of cheesy 80s sound at times, but that's when I started playing guitar and it's hard to reprogram your brain. The chord is Bsus2 and the solo…
This is a recording of Norm and me playing together a few months ago. I didnt have any percussion instruments so Norm was on a Roland electric trap set and I had a cello. I looped some of the stuff we did that night, and retrofitted the rest…

I love this tune, it's a little bitter but still love it :)

Alas, Richard is gone. But the remaining 3 briefly together in London at the O2 a few weeks ago: May 12. Lots of YouTube videos of it - I love the part where Waters hits the wall and it digitally disintegrates beneath Gilmour, playing the solo for "Comfortably Numb".

Do it, Dave!

great, uplifting and fantastic.
Stunning stuff! Gotta love polyrhythms! And impressively tight as well - the man sure got rhythm! :D
Awe inspiring performance.
Time to mic up the kitchen sink.
I wish I was Donkey Cong!
nice, those are some great cabinets...
Very nice, love the "real deal."

Hi Norm, what kind of percussion set up do you have? You got the rhythm in you.
Wow. If I could add more I would, but this has me stuck at "wow"
i loved this tune, congrats!

very very cool..

Hair raising!
Nice playing Chris!
Diggin' out some of the older ones! Spring Cleaning? My how things have changed...
I remember that!
Beautiful Richard!
Lovely!
Very revealing!
If things start to look like that while one is driving, I would suggest pulling over and calling a cab!
Ha! I guessed it before seeing the video!
Are you actually bowing a stop sign??
Great drumming. Bass drum kicking "Son clave" pattern the entire time while he works on the snare/cymbals... this is very difficult (for me) to do - probably why I don't play trap-set.
Great club song.
Many times less is more. It's amazing how much you got out of so little. Sounds great.
Lovely!
Paulstretch?? Sounds like the sound was stretched. Cool!

I believe that Reefwalker is just demonstrating his mathmatical skills... but I'm sure that 52 miles of barbwire walking feels like 65. :)
