Winter Nacht Finale
about Winter Nacht
each year for the past 4 RPM cycles,, i have known a friend or loved one who has passed away… throughout history winter has been a time when sickness and death creep a little stronger amongst us….. perhaps because of these past 4 winters i have felt a little closer to the other side myself,,,, my experiment with choir and orchestral motifs,, has been a way for me to explore,,,, perhaps a little of my fears and hopes and questions are told within this music RLA
thank you Richard for reminding me why I love alonetone, where else would I find a gem like this?
A dark-sided adagio? Some phrases remind me of Albinoni's. Very nice piece, indeed. And heartfelt thanks for all your kind words and comments.
A very impressive cycle, really enjoying your compositions :-)
You're such a great musican Richard! Love these wonderful sounds...you've created a masterpiece! (I've uploaded a church organ this morning!;-)
You sure getting SOME deep bass out of whatever you are playing. I can see the snow blowing against the window. Your frozen breath as you sit in the frigid room. Fingers cut out in your gloves so you can feel the brittle keys.
Symphony of the blizzard and feelings that uplift and give us hope. ~Hope where is nothing to hope~
So serene. This series is comforting and relaxing, the perfect antidote to stress. I have to get Tess to download it for me. Ha, don't ask!!
Otherworldly...haunting and beautiful.
