Okay this is cool cool coolio..... and cuz the Proods comment made me look up spaghettification I too spent some time reading about it... i love the reference to the subway... and boy do I ever need a vacation. This song is now my new fav ear worm!
Thanks Colleen. Bowie and Beatles are some of my biggest influences. No kidding right Lol ! Really appreciate this site and your right what a jam session that would be.
This is really a cool song... some essence of Bowie coming to me. Your vocals are really haunting. In times where we're listening and giving accolades in this digital media, know that your music brings us all together! Although I will admit to a fantasy of bringing all us alone toners together live for the funnest jam session ever! Thanks for this great song!!! An instant fav
Imagining my band imaginary band in my head on one of those 60's type music shows. Just having fun with this one nothing too serious lyrically like solving world peace or finding high consciousness ..although it really is a true story.

What happened to the colors of expression in the arts? I miss the 60's and 70's. Enough said.
Notes from my rock and roll music theory class...
Find a riff and milk it! Check .
Find a four chord bed of lettuce to put that wonderful salad…

The Proods have too many unfinished songs in the hopper...so much going on, but this is something we worked on years ago. I remixed it and finally think it might be passable.
"Kiwa Hirsuta was discovered in March 2005 [...] along the Pacific-Antarctic Ridge [...] south of Easter Island at a depth of 2,200 meters (7,200 ft), living on hydrothermal vents." -Wikipedia
a long time ago I often collaborated with an immensely talented composer from France, Alister Flint - this is one of our collaborations. Been years since I've heard from him. He's been missed.
It's been a long time. Too many distractions and not enough time, or even focus to play lately.
Somehow this song, "Higher Ground" squeaked out from some hidden place.
I have a new love
Of course she doesn’t know
How can a work of art
Know when lovers come and go
And when the artist is the art!
My eyes are the eyes of the beholder
And my eyes are the eyes of the world…
…when the artist is the art…
It's been a while...
This song was recorded with another verse, it ties the song together nicely but who the heck wants to listen to a 5 minute song about depressing stuff? We're really looking forward to feedback from those of you who've like…
This one's the single. It's fun to play and fun to sing when I was in the studio. It's meant to played loud. Actually, the whole album is. Thanks for listening! Cheers, Gary

Bit of an early Blue Oyster Cult vibe. Great interplay between the instruments, and I love the freaky solo at the end.
Perfect! Just like you described.
