Since my baby left me
I found a new place to dwell
It's down the end of Lonely Street
At Heartbreak Hotel
You're makin' me so lonely, baby
I get so lonely, I get so lonely, I could die
Though it's always crowded
You still can find…
Recorded Friday, December 13th, 2013. Drums were generated using a Yamaha E313 keyboard. Vocals and all other instruments are my fault. Lyrics and composition by Stevie Wonder.

Pretty far from the kind of thing I usually go in for, but I like this. Too many people go in for effects just because they can. You have a vision for a soundscape and use fx to create it.
My version of a Neil Young song.
"Rockin' In The Free World"
There's colors on the street -- Red, white and blue
People shufflin' their feet -- People sleepin' in their shoes
But there's a warnin' sign on the road ahead
There's a lot…

Always one of my favorite songs. I used to play this in my High School Band.
Ah those were the days . . . I had hair back then. You still do. Maybe that's why you can still play this song.

Here's number 08 in the saga of Reg……………..Reg has been so down since he stopped drinking…….he feels so alone he's gone and done something stupid…..but luckily he was found by the postman unconscious on the steps leading to his bedsit….the postman…
I watch the sun fall into a thousand silent shards.
Blinded, I bask where it all comes to pool.
Suddenly everything's okay.
But they're building right on top of me, and bearing
gifts made out of my own bones.
I hear the broken waves sing…
This one was recorded back in 2011 but I never posted it. I took a listen to it recently and liked what I heard with fresh ears. It's another of my surf tunes which I enjoy making from time to time.
I kinda like this one, although the cutting and pasting sounds really obvious to my ears. I usually try and get my punches cleaner than this, but I seemed to be slacking on this day. The lyrics are part of my current atheist bent. The guitars…
Not sure about the mix for this one. My left ear hears much better than my right, and I do all of my work with headphones. Sometimes when I have two doubled tracks split left/right I end up having a hard time keeping them balanced. I over compensate…
I have a manual called "The everything home digital recording book" and it suggest you should never use headphones to judge your mix down and mastering work, but whatever, I think you've done a wonderful, professional, masterful job with this number. It ROCKS! Rock on!
Trying out the new set-up with a zoom H4n and cubase LE6. I started to make a simple blues just to try out the equipment, but I really like how it ended up, so I thought I would put it up for listeners.

Sultry, smooth, professional, delightful.
Brilliant, colorful, textured, and tasty.
Your punches aren't obvious to me. What you're doing works for my layman's ears. Great topic, expertly delivered.
You've got all the tracks working quite well with each other. Your mix down is gorgeous. Nice work!

You are a master picker! Very impressive.
I dig the bass -- a lot -- but the lead, not so much.
