Did the guitar tracks first, followed by bass, then drums and vocals last. I wrote this song in a bookstore, after I came home and recorded it, I realized I made the song too short for all the lyrics.

Reefwalker, you don't even need a vocoder. A jacuzzi is a much better option. Once your boy gets into it, he'll forget all about the vocoder! (But I did trade the Caddy for a really nice microphone...)

Norm, my son's been ribbing me about buying a vocoder, but I would rather get a jacuzzi I caught some of that banter in the recording...just had to keep it

4 stereo guitar tracks played out one at a time.
Another late night - early morning recording.
I like to keep a positive attitude about the things that haunt me, but sometimes dreams change course unexpectedly, and the worms creep in.
Enjoying a few tracks on this site with Indian flavor lately. My brothers legs were so red from slapping them to get the perc sounds in this track, I had to laugh, That alone was worth doing the song ;)
Enjoy # 92
Spicy percussion provided by Norm

I was thumbing a ride along a hot, deserted Caribbean road. When Steve pulled up in this vintage pre-war Chevy, I was very grateful. It just so happened he was heading to the same cantina I was, so we kicked back with a pitcher of mojitos…
Well the first thing that came to my mind was, "Holy shit, where the hell has Alister Flint been, I need to down load his new stuff"
You guys are both such respected artists. Nice collab. Still not sure how it happened. Last I heard AF was in a French Jail over some protest shenanigans.
Just an experiment from a while back using multiple delay units. I hated it initially, but after not hearing it for a few months I decided there were enough interesting moments to warrant sharing.
Nice wide open FX's. stereo bounce Yaaaa! Nothin better to keep the tempo. but more, infinity delay, reverse?. sweet sounds Kirk. The guitar is indeed magical
A stripped down version.......

A new mix of something we recorded over the summer including drums and chimes by Treefrog.

Comments on Reefwalker's stuff
Flawless reef. I think the length is fine and the lyrics are frigidly modern. It's short, sweet, and directly to the point.
Sweet sound!
nice feel.
Love it! w;-)

This is freaking Superb!!!!! Faved

IMHO, the only button left to push is "fave"!
Fantastic. Stem to stern hit. I like everything about it. "I'l be my own harmonizing vocoder" - ha! You should really post the lyrics to this gem.
Great stuff! Has a nice live feel to it
one of my favorites by you!
