Song 2 for the RPM Challenge. Wrote this at the piano and then had fun trying all sorts of spontaneous vocal harmonies. Switching time signatures for the chorus made for some challenging recording!
Song 3 of RPM 2022. For the many tortured artists I've met with a bit of a dance spin to it. Most of my songs are unintentional and unplanned....they just happen. Thanks to anyone who's listening!! :)
Song 4 of my 2022 RPM challenge. A simple popish tune to add to the mix.
I never told you
what I wanted
no, it don’t feel right
the things you say
the things you do
well they hold me hold me
I never asked you
for anything

Here is song 7 for the RPM Challenge 2021. This is another experimental song whereby I'm mixing a bit of Dub Step with a bit of Blues. Thanks for listening!
The 4th submission for my RPM Challenge - an experimental electronic song that I put together at the dining room table. Thanks for listening!

This is my second instalment for the RPM Challenge 2021. A playful use of synths as a backdrop for some reflective lyrics. I wrote the song today ....out of the blue :). Thanks to anyone who listens (especially if you make it to the end…
Here is the 6th song for my RPM Challenge 2021. This has got to be one of the weirder songs I have written. It is a combination of dark, ironic, and humorous.
Perfect for my EP called "Darker". Enjoy :) Thanks for listening!!

I ought to go to bed Instead I’m watching z-grade creatures
Menacing…
I keep searching for a sign
From the other side
To keep my hope alive
Trying to walk the line
God knows how hard I've tried
Don't know if I'll survive
Gotta let it slide
Man, these are trying times
If you attempt to fly
You wind up…
That guitar opening caught my attention right away. I love the harmonies too...beautiful. Well done Dweeb. btw...I'm so impressed with your longstanding RPM participation (very inspiring...thank you). Of course, I would always like to hear more (but you have already given so much). Enjoy a good rest (creative work can take it out of us). Ohh....nice ending on this song too......!!!
This is a live cut from an NPR radio broadcast back in 1988 while my Irish Trad group Scartaglen was on one of its first east coast tours. Found recently on a cassette tape. Musically this was one of my favorite periods in the history of the band…
