Another experiment with MetaSynth this time taking a single bowed waterphone sample and running it through the Spectrum Synth. I then experimented with the tempo (spectral timestretching), interpolation settings, and applying formant filters to…

This is the first real "thing" I've created using [MetaSynth](http://www.uisoftware.com/MetaSynth/index.php) as I go through the extensive tutorials.
This was the result of (somewhat haphazardly) drawing & sculpting pixels in the ImageSynth…
~Puzzles, misterious, riddles~
Ghosts do not speak - they communicate with gestures, in silence. We consider them mysterious. I wonder what they think we are? What if they, as well as some of us thinks about them, to believe that we don't exist? And also what if... Oh, I think got carried away :-) Good piece, really.
P.S. I did like this - I run it on the cyclic play (I recommend to try). Drift...
A second outing for my new Reaktor ensemble codenamed "BD". This time I used only once instance of the ensemble but noodled around through a series of samples allowing the guided-randomators to vary the speed, grain density, and grain length…
This is the first demo [Sister Savage](http://alonetone.com/sistersavage) and I have made for our RPM 2011 album.
Although I've uploaded a copy here we'd be really grateful if you would listen to the [version uploaded by Sister](http://alonetone…
So one too many coffee's and I have insomnia, I decided to mess about with my prototype sequencer Rytme and one of the Logic piano presets (Piano Motion).
I came up with this piece (in the key of A Major) which is rather repetitive (a quality…
My 100th upload to Alonetone!
I played a pretty random arpeggio which I arranged into 3 versions of medium notes, long notes, and short notes followed by a gap. I cloned these version and transposed them up and down one octave respectively…

Palimpsest: A Composition of Maps (an isentropic semaphore on the Name of Asmira Woodward-Page) is part of an ongoing series of soggetto cavato pieces the I have written, in this case on the name and at the commission of violinist Asmira Woodward…
I really enjoyed this piece very much and would like to hear more such.
Your other commenter said Bartók-esque and I couldn't have put it better myself. I find it reminiscent of the excellent 'Concerto for Orchestra.'
I also find your technique interesting. I am just beginning to experiment with generative music (albeit of a very different style) and the idea of mapping various sources of information into music is appealing.
Comments on Mr Sandbags's stuff
I bid you a good, if strange, day.
Interesting listen man.
I have no idea what you just said....but it sounds cool. way outerspace
Cool eerie sounds Mr Bags!
Epic! Kind of want a beat to come in at around 0.09, and then girl vocals about running away from herself plastered all over it. Yeah.
Very chill and relaxing. I like!
Will add evocative and raw to oldrottenhead's comment. This is thickly atmospheric, and yet empty. Perfect title - brilliant track.
lush and atmospheric
