You asked me who Jack Hardy was…He was a friend of mine, now gone. Beloved by many. This was a bit of teasing him, imitating how he sang. He and I shared a mutual respect. The first time I met him I was sitting under an awning at the Kerrville Folk Festival and he pulled up a chair and said, “Sing me a song.” We were buddies from then on. The day he would arrive at Kerrville was always joyfully anticipated, not just because he made such great spigot. Here is a link to more about him:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Hardy_(singer-songwriter)

Wow! Great production.
Great stuff, and what a beautiful voice!
Very unique … and psychedelic. All your songs remind me of bands like the Small Faces and the like …
Straight from the late 60s. :)
Sounds like we have the same taste!
Nice, old-school rock, just the way I like it.
How do you do that, coming up with one great tune after the other?
I don’t know the sparser version, but I really like this one!
Not exactly an amateur, huh? :D
Wow, this is a fantastic song, right up my alley!
Great! Cool accent! :)
I don’t want to repeat myself over and over. Kudos for another great song! :)
Thanks for listening on commenting, James! And I love it when you tell us all something about the background of your songs. I wish I’d have the time to listen more often. You are one of the last “true song writers” IMO.
No matter which song of yours I randomly play - I almost always like it! :)
You know what, I still get that Harry Chapin vibe from your song (and voice). And I LOVE Harry Chapin!
This is another very, very good song, and a perfect performance.
Pretty song! :)
Hey J.L. and Bethan! Thanks for stopping by! :)
Thanks for listening! :)
@doktordoktor: Thanks! I’m glad you like it!
It’s actually more abandoned than finished, as I did not want to wait for real drums any longer. But I might revisit it one day and finish it off. :)
This is a nice progrock-ish composition!
