24 hours of music making for 2008.
Yup. This is a "Gaiman variation" which means that I stopped at 24 hours and this is what I've got. Not 24 min, but it is a "Noble Failure"

Ah yes, Brian Eno is it? So maybe new bands won't feel like signing up with any record label at all in the future. Bands make money by going on tour. So how do they get heard enough so we all buy tickets to go see them? Maybe alonetone will grow into the answer?

Finally managed to listen to this all the way though. I still have one or two more 24h EPs to listen to, but I'm pretty sure this is the best of the bunch. Su - you should do all your recordings in 24 hours :-)
@kavin : yeah, Nobody Home is the one I was thinking of.

I do three things after waking up these days: I shower. I make coffee. I play this song and drink my coffee.
Nothing complicated. Nothing fancy. Just some basic fingerpicking to test my motor skills and bring some aural sunshine into my day.
Funny I am sipping my coffee this morning listening to your song and I must say it it is very fitting for the moment. This song definitely has a nice rich blend and doesn't have any of those fake flavors . A perfect cup.

Nothing like a great cup of fresh-ground coffee... but then, there's nothing quite like this bit of warmth sparkling off your fingertips... gorgeous little bit of music, wonderfully played.

Together, this album is an amazing piece of work, and especially so for a 30 day adventure. Congrats again, and looking forward to listen to your new stuff.
Written for Oberlin production of "Closer" - metal samples from the oberlin scene shop and produced by Alec Longstreth banging on everything he can find. You can also check out [Driving in Rain](http://alonetone.com/sudara/tracks/39/) which uses…

I shall greatly enjoy playing this on my houseboat, with a beer!

The track starting at 10:50 is a favorite. Even before I heard the whistle from Akeakamai. :)
I love many things about this album. I like the base and guitar on the opening track.
I like what you do with the Brian Eno dialogue here - it fits right in to the music.
Just brilliant - especially 6 minutes in for me, wonderful guitar, Su.

should add a triple heart feature! One fav is not enough
The sincerity and beauty of the first tune is like a sock in the jaw.
Oh my. This is just fantastic from start to finish. Great job!
Re:Rewind Nobody Home?
The beginning is very much like ... I forgot the name of that Pink Floyd tune. One from the Wall. You know which one I mean. I like.

Great Playing Style! Now I want to make some coffee!!!!
This is Spectacular! Just awesome!
Wow. This is really great. Just beautiful.
This may be a "noble failure" but it is also a brilliant failure as well. Awesome. Love the tremolo guitar at the beginning too!
Hooray! He lives, he breathes, he survived, YOU MADE IT! Excellent job! :-)

GREAT intro track to the album, guys.
Woah, the kick in this one sounds like my upstairs neighbors banging on the floor.
So, I'm on skype video chatting with my father, when he gets on alonetone, puts on this song, and starts dancing.
ha! you are right davey, especially for in progress stuff. I just had the itch to share it.
Be patient, the choruses is missing, as is the nice soft bass, a sprinkle of piano and a bit more of that electric guitar.
Hilarious in a VERY good way, mind you. Like in a "ahhhhh, why is it so funny and so goooooodness?'
I was going to say bubble bath made me laugh, but then I heard this one. Freaking hilarious.
This track is JUICY!
This whole album is reallllllly pleasant and soothing to listen to!
Wow! This was fantastic and right up my alley. I would LOVE to hear more of your stuff.
This is enjoyable as all heck to listen to. The definition of a glu track - laid back, melodic, good beat. All hail the umlauted sticky stuff!
SWEET. This track is a lot of fun and really singable. love it.
Woot!
This was always one of my glu favorites.
well, yeah.
I like this track a lot.
TIGHT.
This is one of my favorites from your recent stuff.
Eh! This one is a little more than crazy!
