Different Roads
“
At the lake we were crawling around
til our knees left bloodstains on the ground
licked our wounds and the pain went away
fell asleep at the end of a day
we dug holes and carved signs into trees
made ourselves a bed out of leaves
and in the cave with nobody around
we danced all night to the colours of sound
we were nowhere to be found
I didn’t know who you were anymore
by the time I walked out the door
you cut your hair and you changed all your clothes
you joined the club I hated the most
and now we are on different roads
“
…sorry for the cheesy melody at the beginning
Your sound and playing are both bloody brilliant. I love that almost conflicting rhythm in the picking.
This is so sweet!
Like it.
Fresh as a daisy, and beautifully accomplished!
