Well Reg has found himself in some difficult times in the past and has needed his time in the Asylum just to let time catch up with his mind.........this track is about such a time...when his affair with lovemebaby turned sour.....
the wall, the nurse that loved me and everything that seems to find a place inside my head all the same, great stuff, sorry I have not been more available lately, been a roller coaster ride of being sick, on vacations and now without ability to work on music. soon be back to drawing boards! :)
This one has caused quite a bit of discussion between us on how it should be mixed. Has anyone got an opinion because we would like to know how you would have mixed it, where would you have put the bass, piano, drums, voice, guitar etc. Any constructive…

Thanks! My dad taught me to jive when I was about 5 years old. He used to have my sister in one hand and me in the other on the dance floor. He was a drummer!

Reg had a bit of tiff with the Mrs so he stormed down the cellar to release his anguish with Elvis and turned it into this little beauty .....now he feels a lot better and is making Mrs Reg a nice cup of tea to say sorry....because lets face it…

Excellent work! Welcome back other Reg!
@ Beth: Well, since you had to ask! Yes, the percussion here is very nice: I would classify this not as Bossanova (a Brazilian pattern built upon Samba type rhythms). To my ear, this is afro-cuban and would be in the "Son" (aka Salsa) family, in which the "2" is the primary accent. There are a variety of patterns in this family, differing primarily in tempo:
Bolero; Guajira<104; Danzón = 104-132; Cha-Cha = 108-126; Son = 122-224; Son Montuno = 184-216; Mambo = 224-264.
I have issues at my house, sometimes they manifest themselves in my tracks. In this case, the bassoon and oboe represent the mouse. The guitar is the peanut-butter.
This is a true story. Im pretty sure this guy still has a taxi job on the night shift in Denver.
Too long since I’ve posted a song. Most importantly, I got Norm to dust off the skins and record some percussion for me. Good to hear Norm and…
Feat. Thetworegs. A collab inspired by studio time in Thetworegs basement with great bottles of wine. Good times, enjoy!

a twist in the tale....
My sister Mary calls on me
Very rare she comes around
She tells me she is in love with this guy
Who lives on the other side of town
Wide eyed, loud and gushing
She tells me his name is Danny McCrew
Over coffee…
Don't tell me the sky is falling
You're gonna break my heart
You look just like a friend I had
But I don't remember you
Come with me
You'll be safe in my arms
I'll hide you away
Your mom won't know
Your dad won't care
Your sister's…
There's a story behind this that's uninteresting to anyone but me. A short version is that my old, broken guitar (made semi-immortal with duct tape and instrumental willpower) needed to play this Dylan song before it is laid to rest.
Mr. Greene
The most beautiful man I’d ever seen
Our high school teacher Mr. Greene
Little more than a child at seventeen
In love with our teacher Mr. Greene
Immature and so out of touch
Just a silly schoolgirl crush.
Dreamy kid; Duran…
Trucks pass by my house all night
Across the river east and west
I hike for several hours a day
And climb upon the granite crest
Where I can see the valley floor
And forest with its secret streams
The gold mined towns that lie below…
On the last day of summer
The day before school
It started in the water
Everything was cool
Until we saw this thing appear
It didn't have a sound
This darkness in the water
Looked like a shroud
First
I thought
“I’m trippin’”

Kisses Goodnight
Verse One
After Goodbyes and all,
We’re now on our way
We’re leaving here for now
Cold hands, spin me around
Eyes lock and innocence becomes
My eyes
PreCH
The photographs
Still frames in my mind
Forged memories…
I seem to find peace at the bottom of a bottle of Cote de Rhone again
And I think I found truth here in this honest confession
I've fucked up more times than you can imagine
Spent too many days in haze and confusion
Waiting and moping and…
The beach was deserted
We walked at the water’s edge
I knew she was a gift
As close as our future steps
Sunset forgot us
While we discovered life’s
Underformed questions
Washing onto naked feet
The wind rolled in
Carrying the moon…

Demo for FAWM ’25. Based off a poisonous plant prompt, which in my case was Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) a plant that to my initial disappoint is the "kid gloves" of deadly plants, traditionally more common for medicinal use than murder, but…
