I'd have wanted to strip the famous hook out as well, but I couldn't see what was left that I could make something of... Yep, that works :-) Cool song on the original track. Enhances and brings out that riff. I listened to the original first and thought "it's the riff I'd go for" - and I'm guessing that's what gave you the mood for the lyrics/vocal. Nice work both!
