OK I looked at this thinking --- 17 minute song.. well I will surf the net some.. do the fb thing.. but dag it is too intense for that.. it is that I needed to type about the song not surf.. --- yeah this is great.-excellent changes after echoes into new echoes well done. These high squeeks are like splintering thru the effects of the delays ,, really then into the dronesk like dreamings.. Incredible (I added that word to my dictionary = Dronesk)
I am just going to paste what I posted about this song on fb here.--- OK wow it is enough that I never get chills from music I am listening to the first time.. because I don't know the song.. ---- minute two or two and a half chills ran up and down my spine. and again-- at minute 5:25 this is really stand alone work of greatness.=== wow.
Nice scratching till that subsides to clear water..
I am glad you were able to do something with the metronome beeping it’s something that I have difficulty with... I always turn it off,,, when I forget,, I am really confused as my personal personality like drummer has his own kinda abstract timing that usually conflicts with anything organized like say regular beats...
All I Can do is Try
Move towards my window,
try to get out.
It will not open,
I got a clue what it's about.
I have it on good authority,
I may not be the best…
minute 5.5 still hear the first note played ,, it is there ,,, in the infinite loop of loops.. going some of this , most of this ,,, has a liquid type flow to these sounds.. yeah I think by about minute 7 it all fades into a new,,, or a total reset of the echo work.. === thank you chris I am actually glad I went thru the list of songs that were made last week ,,, specially before we start a new week. ---Oh dag this end .. ,,, doesn't leave space for the totally ,, like echo motions that are ,,, so perfectly placed.
I had this mellow tune hanging around when I heard "Love is Life" by The Two Regs and thought I need to catch the other Reg while he's around.
Lucky for me he had the time, the voice, and the melody. We created this lovely tune.
I was electrified…
Product of noodling around. Lead guitars are a combo of UAD's Nigel plugin and the Fractal Axe Fx. Clean guitars are the Fractal. The outro guitars are my Princeton Recording amp.
I played the piano's through my midi guitar and Axon. You can…
My first upload.
This is a cover of probably my favourite song of all time, by The Waterboys, who were introduced to me many years ago when the highlight of my week was Thursday night TV, pizza and quaffing Baileys.
Thanks to Sister S for…
i think the title says it all.....the easy ones from the Beatles music book........More Regged up beatles but no Elvis he has gone off in a sulk he never did like them and he thinks were doing too much of them.......
Sometimes, you just have to make a track so that you can play that big ass gong - you know the one im talking about.
4 guitar tracks and one for the gong. Various FX for guitar including a sustain FX which seems to go well with the gong droning…
I think sometimes you have stolen the essence of David Gilmore and concentrated it in your guitar. Is that possibly the same gong I had the pleasure to meet after a cheesy western?
I did this one to Norms track Proof....... it's about a disturbing dream...... i hasten to add it was Reg's dream not mine. So blame him................
my up coming IF comment: a most strange blues backing track but it works well. Some sounds remind me of the daxophone which I recently discovered. Very cool!
A song for a wet day in Sheffield Thanks Johnny.......another one for the Zep album.........I will have to sort out that first verse..........but i hope you enjoy..........
the zoom H2 is battery operated - or if you wish it can use an adapter. The guitar I used is this one http://chrisvaisvil.com/?p=436 Brad converted. Any noise is from the Marshall amp which seems to have a ground problem - at least in the room its in at the moment. I haven't been listening much because I've been editing a lot of video and it brings my machine to its knees.
Samples used in this tune from the NY subway this summer. Inspired by Dave Dunseath
3-12, just uploaded a new version of this with guitar- and some other changes
So this is the source for the mixes I am doing just performed / recorded / video-digitized this performance too. If you would like to remix this I suggest doing so from this file or letting me send you the 60mg 320 kbs file of these sounds…
this is really exciting progressive experimental sound and video Bill! You need to find a theremin - you playing it in a video like this would look so cool!
wow! the rabbit hole is deep here. this is one of your best ever. I'd love an album of this! Downloaded.
I'm checking out your other new ones after this finishes. I'm at 6 min right now.
Its done. wow - this is really something else. Excellent work!
Comments on vaisvil's stuff
how do you deal with your latency? I figured you for a know fiddler.

yaaaaah! fuck yeah!!
The whammy did not die in vain.
Some heavy metal ambient right here. If the aliens ARE listening I'm sure this reached them.

I see three. 7 minute sectioned parts layered setting to left right center... in the next edit of this? What do you think Chris?
almost sounds like All I can do is cry.. but I see the lyrics.. --- I know it is not that
parrot and voice training is .. so intertwined from like so so long ago ---
starlight is God's light and God's light is everywhere because everywhere is home... The reaction to the lyrics I have. --- thank you Chris
the chimes .. excellent like echoes of the wind in the window .. time is going on.
the guitar work is classic stuff... ===
excellent quality for ca. 1980 dag.. intense lyrics ..

super spreading low synth.. can you ask AI where it comes from?
Love the layered lusciousness. Gorgeous.
Frippishly Beautiful

almost joe cocker on the vocal Reg! sweet ballad!
I guess you brought your fans with you to AT. Where are you from?
great performance and song!
very unusual - reggae Beatles sort of?
I think sometimes you have stolen the essence of David Gilmore and concentrated it in your guitar. Is that possibly the same gong I had the pleasure to meet after a cheesy western?
I like this too - though the added dimension of the previous is better
cool piece!
great pop track!
finally I get to hear this - oh this is so weird - Elvis does Beatles! I like the arrangement.
sad story - one that is all too real.
my up coming IF comment: a most strange blues backing track but it works well. Some sounds remind me of the daxophone which I recently discovered. Very cool!
I do plan on making another. I need to research what wood to use instead of the cool looking but stab in the dark wine box this time.
Beautiful job on the vocals here Reg!

Cool - but I think I've heard this before ;-)
