For improv friday
This is part 2 - see Keys at Lowes for an explanation of what I'm trying to do.
Ok, another try using base frequencies of 0.1, 3, 10, 17, 33 and 48 Hz spread in stereo space plus some of the original mixed in. (additional…
This is right up my street, you're really getting some fabulous timbres out of this. I tried the improvFriday site a couple of weeks ago but really had no idea what I was doing.
For improv friday

I took a raw field recording (included here field recording http://notonlymusic.com/board/download/file.php?id=1187 ) and ran it through…
I don't use autotune either, though collaborators have been known to serlap some on me. Very rude. :-)
This is very pretty...and I can't see where you'd need tuning. Lovely, intimate vocal.

William Newbold recites his poem backed by my viola bowed stratocastor, viola bowed bass and ebowed fender mustang and picked fender mustang and kontakt Rhodes. Yes this is in fact Lost Friendship recycled. I'm doing something for the…
(a setting of) The Conqueror Worm by Edgar Allen Poe
LO! 't is a gala night
Within the lonesome latter years.
An angel throng, bewinged, bedight
In veils, and drowned in tears,
Sit in a theatre to see
A play of hopes and fears,
While the orchestra…
RPM 2011 number 2. Inspired by an ex-friend of mine who had the most dazzling rose tinted glasses. Always used to envy the simplicity of his view and how nothing could ever get to him (everything gets to me).. since i knew him I know a lot of…
Outland (The Ballad of Jarrod X)
words and music by VIVIAN CIRCLE
Mother, why did you lie to me?
I didn't have to make the same mistakes as you.
Father, why did you run away?
There was so many things left unspoken with you.
Jarrod walks…
Chris sent me this great tune playing his 17 ET guitar and fretless bass, and for some reason i thought Mafia instantly. Sammy the Bull was the under-boss to John Gotti back in the 80's and 90's and he turned informer to bring John Gotti down…
Improvisation using segments of the vocal track from Chris Vaisvil's piece Sweeney's Agony and sample fodder, played via midi keyboard, with live computer processing.
Was going to layer or track this into the jumping on 2 but could not do that legitimately anyhow by the end I start part of the jumping on 2 song, coming next. first here i set the levels then at about min 2 something I sync the beats between…
An unusual traditional tune from the first Scartaglen album way back in 1984. Going through stuff the other day and ran across the LP and couldn't even remember the tune or having recorded it. I played guitar on this track

Arthur C. Clarke once wrote "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic". This was truly magical my friend :)
Mellow.
Glad you liked Holy Wind. Had to work on my bass for a few days...things had gone awry.
indeed, you don't need autotune at all ;)
Oh, deliciously offbeat! You always surprise me!
Mystical and beautiful.
very poignant - could/should be in a film
Ahh, very tenderly sung and played. Why would you need autotune anyway?
Woah, improvisation!? Awesome!!!
I don't use autotune either, though collaborators have been known to serlap some on me. Very rude. :-) This is very pretty...and I can't see where you'd need tuning. Lovely, intimate vocal.
