This is a microtonal Jazz-ish piece produced with some newly developed techniques.
Norm Harris provides the excellent percussion. I probably could have made it easier on myself by not being so chromatic… but there it is.

Remastered from 4 track circa 1987. The backing track was shoved into one track (drum machine, casio CZ-101 synthesizer bass, rythmn guitar) - the vocals are buried because I wrote a song that was way way too high for my range. The backwards-ness…
But four young Oysters hurried up,
All eager for the treat:
Their coats were brushed, their faces washed,
Their shoes were clean and neat--
And this was odd, because, you know,
They hadn't any feet.
Four other Oysters followed them,
And yet another four;
And thick and fast they came at last,
And more, and more, and more--
All hopping through the frothy waves,
And scrambling to the shore.
Continuing journey of late getting reacquainted with my acoustic guitar past in a new direction more improvised and spontaneous than I used to do and more akin to some of the acoustic work of recent years with Chinapainting. I'm also rediscovering…

Got to agree with movement ...missed this one ...a hell of a collab gents
Wow....i love when i find amazing music i missed...that is some really cool fretless jammin...
It begins, ah, Nice! I was sorry when that ended. Well played! A very attractive composition!
Pretty sweet and sweeping.
Love these nylon excursions. Brimming with melodic ideas.
A stunning piece Chris. Builds with tension making anticipation. Love the glass marimba sounds. What a gloriously peaceful photo. Ah bliss!
based on the premise if we build it they will sec-come...The sounds speak of construction and excess in go-rash glass and steel
Golly, what a concrete jungle that photo shows! This is a very strong piece with sudden splashes of volume which are very effective.
Very good, I think because 17EDO has good fourths and fifths, and the usual CV touch makes it even better, John.
8:13 IN.....i am loving this.......
hey, i think "white boy with no rhythm" is a good enough excuse. ;)
I missed this one Chris. A really great rock song. The backing is punchy, solid and I think, right up there.
Quite the adventure - great tension!
Really cool sounds, nice one
Nice was that!
Chris does Blues! Good song and strong guitar playing.
A delicate composition, very pretty. The photo reminds me of what I didn't like about Houston.
This is expressive and solid. Bound together in the light of lights.
Love the flute it gives it a certain magic.....
Such a clear flute. An inspiring piece, strong and meaningful. A perfect partner for the reading.

this may be long, but it isn't empty. I really, really like this one!
it opens like a hurdy-gurdy! Your layering is so orchestral - wonderful work
This is cooler - the SE-02 seems to be quite a nice synth~!
love the runs in this piece! Very powerful!
awesome!!!
I'm in awe of how you make these pieces every week. This is excellent contemporary classical music. I agree with Bill, beautiful ending!

excellent!
Beautiful!
Lola has my respect. What synth was slept on?
Its why they fly in cris-cross patterns!
You get some great sounds out of the pedal!
truly beautiful!
This is a lovely piece of intimate mystery!
this has a lovely mood that is introspective and unique
works extraordinarily well!
beautiful looping!
Love the dramatic opening and the release of tension that starts in the middle and resolves at the end nicely.
beautiful!
The music is excellent in how strident it is.
