Continued Chris Vaisvil radio interview…
Thanks for posting this, Chris. 2 hours of Chicago radio air time - sweet. You did a great job of music selection. Alas, I did miss hearing your personal commentary on the second hour, but it says something that the radio station thought enough of your work to feature it over a 2 week period.
This is a smooth jazz piece built around Norm Harris' percussion using Garritan Jazz and Big Band sample set with the Aria player and a touch of tonehammer's Francesca sample set. Something Norm and I did last April.
Scored for upright bass…

That bass is simply too cool. I love what you have done with this pattern. Almost has an eastern feel in places...
Having grown up near Winfield, KS (home of Dorothy), I can assure you that they have never heard anything like this before - they'd love it! They'd probably bake you a pie for the opportunity to do a little "scat" vocalization on the mix, and, afterwards, while tending to the livestock, they would ponder about the possibility of there actually being 3 kinds of music: country, Western & JAZZ.

Hi - thought I'd throw up an older piece today while I have time (doing work at the new house later). This is an improvisation with my Fender Mustang / Roland GR-20 combination retuned on the fly to 9 notes per octave "Sorog" tuning. I think…

my goodness - you've been pouring out music and stories - I can't keep up - I surrender the title of the most prolific composer ever to Reg :-)
Man - how did you get the Louis Armstrong voice - oh wow.....
And the rock opera people are right - think Rocky Horror Picture Show - if you could get together a script and a vision and sell it you could be set for life. There is no question about you having the talent to pull it off.
Here's to Johnny!

This is a piece written for 37signals, made to accompany a [fun video they did on Letterpress printing](http://37signals.com/svn/posts/2795-a-letterpressed-thank-you)
The track is best listened to in context of the video, since it's scored…
Aw, we tried to make this a bit more pro, but sometimes the really fun moments in life are fleeting. So here it is warts and all. But don't mind that - just get out onto the dance floor with Reg! It's ok: he's up to date on his shots.

Humility Don't Come to You
Bet you don't know what I do,
what I'm doing, what I'm doing
Bet you don't understand
Yes I realize
that you think you think you are so big
and its hollow the night you stand
Humulity don't come to you
Not at all
Humility don't come to you
Not at all
I bet you can't figure out who you are
All the things you try just don't get you too far
And you try to make what it is
Something that that it really isn't pure
Humility don't come to you
Easy at all
Humility don't come to you
You think you stand so tall
Humility don't come to you
Not Easy at all
Humility don't come to you
I hope that you can catch your fall.
I am noticing a patter in the musics like at minute five to minute five and a half I start to slow down and change up the systems.. anyway when i mixed the two things they came out like this.
these are the messages from my machine. I did this before but somehow had to do this again. of course the answering machine messages were edited for content .. :)
I was just reading "The Challenges Facing Women in Music and other Scientific and Engineering Fields" and saw you uploaded a track - and I got to say this is awesome!!! Are the strings microkorg or one of those VSTs? They work really well with the voices - sounds film dramatic! Nice work!
You never would have caught me playing this genre a few years ago. WHat the hell happened ??
All the instruments were recorded with an open mic at my house. Which, as you know is always a chaotic place to record :) If you listen hard enough…
thought,, id try doing something for valentines day so i chose two Beatles tunes,, amazingly (or not) i found them very difficult for me to personalize, ,,hope all you lovers have a good day and enjoy
Most of you probably haven’t seen Reg dance, so I should explain it to you.
When Reg takes his “classic moves†to the dance floor everyone else steps aside to just watch – well, that is everyone except a few of the most self confident…
