Black Widow
Black Widow don’t hesitate
Lock the door, draw the shades
In your web I have been caught
Not enough to fill you up
Leave me a skin
A shell of the man that I was…
There is a definite Zeppelin resonance going on with you guys, but with a twinge of Cobain vocally.
I'd like to hear a bit more contrast in the dynamics, but otherwise keep up the brilliant work.
just finished this one, represents a slightly new direction i am taking i think.
i am particuarly proud of the polyrhythmic sound i achieved. i was worried it mite become too cluttered (at the beginning) but i think i achieved clarity.
well I thiiink it was one of the maaaany times in which we would go down to the pMundo beach by the river build a fire, burn one (a couple) down and jam out loud, where I came up with this beautiful chord progression. It was then about a week…
My opus. By far the longest song I've ever recorded. I tried to make it shorter, but it just didn't work. Sorry. :)
"The Water-Carver" uses a sample from Stereolab's "Changer." (Gane/Sadier)
I burned a copy of this album on CD and listen to it in the car constantly...can't get enough...i especially love the lyrics on this album..brilliant work...can't wait to hear more...
An older song that was originally inspired by Prefab Sprout's "Goodbye Lucille #1 (aka 'Johnny Johnny')" but has morphed into it's current state that's more influenced by Suicide and House of Love.
The verses in this song alternate being about my best friend when I was a little kid, and my best friend at the time I wrote it. I thought it was brave and artsy at the time. Then I grew up. :)

This is great... really odd structure, simple but still haven't heard anything quite like it. Kinda Flaming Lips-y a bit, good stufff
Poor, poor bear. At least didn't die in vain, because this track rocks.
