Great song. Was playing and singing along with it like I wrote it. I didn't know the word 'demo' still existed in music. It sure doesn't apply to this tune. Sure as a puffy(singer/songwriter/player) I hear the layers...but at the end of the song it was perfect as it was. I totally get the 'wait until you hear it with everything I hear' composer vibe. But this aint no demo. This is a song. Awesome I'm a wordy bastard considering I'm just your basic''ego driven organ grinder monkey'!

Awesome! Very catchy melodically (complex in a great way) and otherwise. I love the bridge....and the "they don't count anymore"...love that....and nice ending vocal too. Your challenge seems to be going extremely well.

Certainly reminds me of one of my all time Heroes, Roy Harper .....

Halfway through it did feel like it was the intro to something (cue dry ice, big light show, power chord, let's rock... mebbe!)(I think it's the hi-hat that does this to me, it reminds me of a drummer itching to get going) But, for me, it does actually bring itself to a nice conclusion. Didn't really feel like "petering out" at this end.

lol - That's the "Rory" face, Greg... didn't realise how much it came out until I saw this video. I have a camera now, and I'm currently struggling with how to control my face... During the course of a song, I seem to wander the entire range of emotions - from intensely "bored" (the "I wonder what the next chord is?" face) to an "utterly bluddy crazy-man coming to get you" look... Was I really that scary when I was doing gigs?!?!?
