Hi Brett...it's been a while, I'm tuning in exclusively to catch up on your BRILLIANT music! Starting with this one....AMAZING. Different from your music that I'm familiar with.
Hi Brett! Thanks for checking in. I've been away too long, trying my hand at other art. My fellow Prood members are itching to do some more music, so maybe soon.
I haven't logged in in a while, and I'm pretty excited to go through all of your tracks I haven't heard yet, so you're sure to hear from me soon.
Rock on!
Heres the 2nd Track for the RPM challenge ....Reg really does not want to go back behind the door...he's afraid of his own shadow...poor old Reg......
I don't want to go Back (Lyrics)
tick tick goes the clock once more
i don’t know who i am anymore…
Toward You
-
With each new day I'll seek a way
To get as close as I may
Toward you
It's my destiny to set you free
Until then I can only see
Toward you
Throughout the night under the light
Of the moon I drive
Toward you
Through rain and snow…
a wee short one
A long time has passed since we last met
I hope that life’s been treating you well
And what are you up to these days
Are you with somebody else
And do you see any of the old crowd
I wonder where they all are now
The years…
New mix (24th Oct 2013).
Vocals & Lyrics: Errol Chugg
Composed by Steffen Offermann & Errol Chugg
Guitar: Bobby Clohessy & Mark A. Shrider
Bass: Andreas Glummert
Drums: Ken Grover
billy boy where did you go
sittin in a pile of snow
come on down its gettin cold
for the time is getting old
well we made our way to the old wigwam
frozen lake and wind was calm
standing bow did strike a deer
to feed the tribe…
Wonderful song, James, very innocent and dreamy. It builds in increments very nicely and is well paced. Has a sort of Blue Nile meets Peter Gabriel flavor.
I have found some old Tapes of Reg's Great Grandfather old Blind Melon Reg who emigrated back to Sheffield from the states in the early 40's to fight for king and country these are the lost tapes of him playing live at the cellar from way back…
sup, odh, I like this and the 'Friends of Mine' cover, two bands I dig and think you do nice, personal covers of both. The swirling, subtle distortion in the far corners is lovely.
A complete re-vamp of a 6 year old song. Sure I wrote the lyrics while on holiday in Majorca, rewrote a couple of lines, picked up me ole guitar last week & just played this tune & it all seem to fit. Could need a lay down now !!!!
For the grandchildren, when I get some!
Moonbee started life as a doodle, then he was turned into a little story, then a song!
This is Part 1 of the series - I have no idea how many there will be in total!
Enjoy! xox
P.S. This is…

Such wonderful sounds… I have been gone too long. Well met friend.
A lot of good sounds in this tune. BTW, thanks for listening to my songs. :)
This is perfect ambience!

Great posts recently.. I particularly liked this one!
😎
Fun stuff!
This reminded my of Jungle line by Joni MItchell, though listening to that now they don't sound super similar. Just the feels I guess!
let's go!!
Wow I feel like this could have come straight out of Kate Bush's woodshed
👍🏼
Strangely hypnotic with the repeating note and then the tinkles and wotnot. Works really well for me.
So I'm following a feminine ethereal being through green wisps and flowers and waterfalls...just for a moment, an unbroken world.
Belongs in a road movie, at night, weaving through dark underbelly streets, just because.
Ignoring the surprisingly alluring mental image of you belly dancing, this is a cool mix of intrigue and ambience!
Love this. Moody and ambiguous…back in the day, this would have made a really cool b-side.
hi Warren you asked for this ages ago, here is the full version of suppers ready https://songcrafters.org/forum/index.php?topic=10708
I would implore you to not quit. Ultimately don't we all make music for ourselves? Strangely beautiful piece!
thanks, man.

awesome
I appreciate that, thanks CS.
cool song dudes. I like the drone, vaguely reminiscent of Genesis' Back in NYC.
thanks (for about the hundredth time) ;)
Wild, ha. I always enjoy your dark imagination. Terry Gilliam-eque circus trip.
Cooool. There's a certain odd clash to the chant-ish vocals and the folk-y instrumentals that gives it a uniqueness.
This is nice, A very sweet and honest tune.
I like this one, CS. Very simple and effective. Good work on the RPM man.
Thank ya, sir.
Wonderful track, ORH, it's simple and doesn't try to be more or less than it is. Hits the nail on the head, so to speak.
Thank you very much, Andrew (and guest), glad you like it.
Thank you!
Maybe it's just 'cause it was mentioned, but I'm hearing Steely Dan too, especially if you imagine more elaborate harmonies over parts. Good song!
very cool, sir... has a kind of laid back 90's pop/rock feel.

ha, awesome.

hey, what's up, thanks odh.
I like this one a lot, has that late 80's/90's psychedelic revival flavor and smoothness to it.
Super whimsical, fun stuff, very cute.
