I did this weeks ago & then found it again last night as I was archiving old files. This is one of those one-off improv sessions... I recorded the rhythm guitar in one pass, then one "lead" pass and then one vocal pass, and done. Even the…
Thanks! Glad you like my loops....I don't usually mess with them too much, but I had some fun with those two song.
As for 17,000 years I've been jammin it for a few days now. If you can't find the chords it's cool I will figure something out. It will be a bit before I give it a try. ;)

My Last Demon
-
My last demon
Follows me around
I hear his suggestions
But you don't hear a sound
My last demon
Is riding in the back
He looks like he's sleeping
But he's on the attack
He leans in and whispers
And I forget…
Come Tomorrow

I'm like a tumbleweed, got no roots
I'm like a climbing vine, leaves and chutes
Come tomorrow, I might not be around
Come tomorrow
I'm a reflection, you see me in your mirror
A missed connection, so far and yet right here…

This one is for all of you intrepid audio explorers out there: our latest experimental improv featuring Treefrog on electrified cigar box & washboard... Definitely not for the faint of heart!
@Movement To Contact - Hey, thanks! Although I didn't intend it to, I think it sounds like early 80's GD drums/space... but "you are what you eat" so they say! :-D

Hey friends, it's been awhile! I just got back from Alpharetta, where I managed to get a few short hours hanging with my good friend Treefrog. We recorded a whole bunch of weird noises & then decided to do at least one "real" song. This is…
When the bombing ends and all that's left is sand and bones and charred remains, what will you think then? Will you call it a win? Or will you lay down and die with all the rest? Its not too late to stop, call this death march to a halt. I promise…

Glad you got to jam with your friend. One of my favorite times is meeting up with my buddies out of town ad getting a good jam going. Great recording and great track, both of you.

Ring of Fire - lyrics by Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash -1963. Slightly modified.
This wasn't meant to be Ring of Fire but that's how it wound up.
I have been wanting to trash Ring of Fire and the words just seem to fit this simple 1-4-5…
@Terrapin - I do like to double (or more)the vocal tracks... On this track it's an acoustic guitar, an electric through a line6 swell effect, and an old yamaha analog keyboard....
This is pretty cool! I'd really like to read more about these tracks. If you have the time, maybe you could add some info to the "about" section for each song.
Enjoying your music Steve.... I recently signed up at ImprovFriday and hope to be able to contribute something in the near future. Interesting that the time listed for this track is 2:51 and yet it played until 4:38. I don't think I've ever seen alonetone do that before.
More LoopShifted piano accompanied by Stylus RMX and Omnisphere. At over eight minutes it's perhaps a little self-indulgent but maybe it's more like punting down the river Styx than jet-skiing on a lake of fire.
Frustrated with how slow my solo acoustic/vocal songs are going, I decided to spend the weekend making something chilled out, just to relax myself and to let people know I haven't died.
Its a short instrumental track. I call this minimalist electronica…
This track hasnt started off sounding anything like this. I had a drum beat in my head, so I keyed it into my laptop, then edited it around and it ended up like this.
then i recorded everything, and just as i was about to save it.. EVERYTHING…
Its a song that was inspired by a dream I had. In fact.. it was the soundtrack to the dream. The ending is purposely left with a feeling of being not finished, as I can't remember how the dream ended.
I hope you all like it :)
this was originally a song about breaking through paradigms but turned into a song about a girl.
Keys and string samples from Korg, MIDI with the old Ensoniq,
one diving board.
Thanks for the listen ,enjoy... RW

Pretty cool, i like the kinda off-beat in the background.
Nice to hear your slinky tones Michael. Treefrog, you are too cool! Mix sounds good to me.

Cool track!
NICE!
Psychedelic!
Interesting choice for the last piece... a bit of a wake up following the chill out of the previous songs. Dig the drums. Another top track.
I agree with Kirk regarding note choices. Quite jazzy. Well done!
More groovy bass! These pieces go very well together, a very nice EP you've put together here.
A nice moody piece.
Good stuff. Dig that bass.
