well, i really took to both pieces. I decided a mashup should be without permission, otherwise its just aremix. Hope I made something new, Incidentally structure is based on theory heard on alonetone.
Just add 4/4 and go!
how...good job, men. I have to say that i got lost when i realized you took that song for a remix...but the sound is good, more agressive. Really love to have a profressional remix (WOW...me?), but i don´t know what uneven bars means :)
This song is built on an entirely weird formula. First, I played it.
Second, I broke it up into equal but random lengths,
Then, starting each segment where i played it, Repeating each segment four or five times, adding lots of fx
Finally, i needed…
jupiter leads with a rythym guitar and sings a crazy off the cuff story, while hot wheels simply plucks pretty randomly at his five strings. A ballad about a mexican cat, with a spiky ,lively six minute intro.
don't know what to think about this other than...hell yea, thats the sound of the daily grind for sure. wild stuff.
Thanks for the nice comments on my tunes.
I slipped and fell on the pedal, and cant get up cause this jammm is pinning me to the floor!
prepare to get ground up in chrome and sparks..
Hot Wheels Spaulding
Thanks to Kirk and his musician friends, all extremely talented. Or is Kirk solo…

Thanks to Colin for writing, performing and producing this song, and for letting me mod it. I think it's a great tune, benefits from an uptempoing. This is Hot Wheels Spaulding reimagining Colin's song 'The View'

that mood is so scary/comes forth quickly/ like im a spooked animal/ I know you have been domesticated/ through centuries/ so what possession/ telltale twitch jettisoned...
There lurks something about/ spillings of toxic oil/ crytalline liquid…
gay organ..trans-filtered guitar..a heinous name(that seems to go far)..a sonic bumpy wagon ride..through space..through a tunnel to the center of the muddiest planet..
This is the accoustic version of fat tragedy. I guess it is a guitar solo. Thinking itself through, but not really anticipating what itself is going to do.
Track 17 from "Someone Else's Hell"
Lyrics:
So I'm not wanted anymore
is it really that much of a change
just a leper
death omen
tainted, pervaded, profane
leper
disfigured
ugly
losing chunks
of me
stop acting
like you really…
This was a warm-up song I did in January 2010 in preparation for my February RPM Project, "Wave". I was just trying to get a vibe going and wasn't focusing on anything lyrically, hence why the title is also the only line in the song.
This is…
i've never tried gating one track to another. going to try now though. I use gates all the time, but I dont know they are there. built into a drum synth or a bass synth, both applied after recording say, a guitar track. I'm quite certain that those effects work by gate and trigger. Audacity has a gate effect, which I have almost entirely overlooked. certainly didn't know it could do that!
