I bought ABL2 recently, because I *love* that 303 sound and it was cheaper than trying to figure out how to build my own xoxbox.
I had plans to do more with this track. Then I realised I was getting too deep into tweaking instead of releasing…
After the Alonetone meetup in Dublin, I promised Tess & Bethan I'd get my finger out and finish/upload some more stuff. So this is the first thing that's reached "good enough" stage. A trancey/ravey number featuring monotron samples after…

Nearly missed this! :) Great to hear some fresh sounds from you! Agree with Johnny, love the beat - also dig the bassline and yes, there is dancing in my kitchen. He shoots he scores. :)

One of four tracks I did for the August 2009 24 hour challenge. This was the last track I did, and it shows.
I was pretty tired after finishing 3am chill, and had to mess round for ages mangling loops and trying out different things before…

One of four tracks I did for the August 2009 24 hour challenge. This was the second track I did.
I'm an old trance head, so I had to have a go at making a trance tune during the 24 hours. This had the advantage that I could stretch out the breakdown…
Worked on this track for a *long* time. Learnt a lot but it's time to call it done and move on to something else. Am pretty happy with it all in all.
Sounds include samples of me clapping and the Snowdon steam train heavily processed with Ableton…

Thanks for your feedback btw. I actually lowered the bass after WS comment but I know there i still work that need to be done

First attempt at making something with the demo version of live 8 suite and some of the sample tutorials. Just the first third or so of a whole track really. It's the first thing I haven't wanted to delete straight away so I want to put it somewhere…
I decided to focus by timeboxing the amount of time I spent on drums, bass and lead into 30 min sections based on the pomodoro technique. The idea was to spend 5 mins picking the sound for each part, then 25 mins making some loops with it to arrange…
One of four tracks I did for the August 2009 24 hour challenge. This was the first track I did, when I was still fresh.
I'd wanted to play around with Guitar Rig 3 since getting it at the weekend. The guitars are ableton loops mangled with guitar…

This is a track I started on the ferry over to Wales for a little holiday a couple of weeks back.
* Drums are from Ableton Suite's Session Drums
* Bassline is an patch I created in Live's Analog synth
* Guitar is me playing through Guitar…
Something completely different- Uilleann pipes(Irish bagpipes) and synth. I wrote this tune over 20 years ago in the style of traditional Irish slow airs. It was recorded way back in 1991 for an album that's been out of print for over 15 years…
This track was created as part of the October 2010 Alonetone 24 hr challenge. The challenge is to make 24 minutes of original music in one 24 hour period.
Just a basic dance track because its just fun to bounce around sometimes. Also another excuse to use a growly bass sound... a "60 Hz Hum Bass" soundfont I had clearly neglected for too long.
After I read into RPM and understood that anybody could take the challenge, I joined up. I'm starting with a clean slate, so I hope I can finish! This a WIP of the first tune I'm working on. Everything I do will be recorded/produced with the Boss…

This is one of my first ambient tracks, and it's been made up largely of sounds I've captured on a handheld recorder over the last five or so years.
Dark, and more than a little creepy.
I was sitting watching TV and having a strum. decided to plug in my little zoom hand held and this is what I got. Just as it came live with just a tad of delay added
it is midnight of halloween. it blinks 12 at the landfill. the electric blue light awakens the dying electronics. a cracked blackberry dances slowly with an unrecognized newton, palm to palm. woofers gather around the hammond organ to boost the…
Glitchatom-1 is the first in a series of experimental pieces where I'm trying to learn about glitching and get more familiar with Reaktor.
In this piece I'm using Peter Dines [Frankenloop ensemble](http://kore.noisepages.com/2008/06/20/introducing…
Shaken, not stirred please.
Experimenting more with sandbags' Elysium. This time I used it to trigger elephant samples for part of the percussion section.

@small.cat drums could probably do with some tweaking and variety, my creativity was spent at this point :) Have left as is so I can compare like for like the next 24 I do. Thanks for listening!
Some experimentation that started with sandbags saying that he was looking for a wood sound. I responded with marimba plus monster reverb... and I quickly noodled together an ambient thing.
I wondered aloud whether I was done or should continue…
Originally this piece was written for a guitar. But I love my R3 so much! I'm playing with it. So this piece is just an electronic version. As always, all sound patches were programmed by me.
The psyche is a weird place, I'll just talk about it musically.
The piece begins with the sounds of Sudara's autoharp, the weeping woodwind sounds of the clarinetist from Megafauna Lacrymosa , and a low kick-like percussive sound, which is…
