i can feel the vibe of wanting to go to bed, especially in the bpm-changes. i think the drums are a bit loud and present(could also be my system - listening on laptop now) and pretty monotonous.

Thanks for the comments everyone! Glad people have liked this because I nearly couldn't stand it when I finished it. It was so much effort to get it done at that time in the morning. It's funny that now that people others have listened and found something in the track I can go back and listen less critically.

Something completely different- Uilleann pipes(Irish bagpipes) and synth. I wrote this tune over 20 years ago in the style of traditional Irish slow airs. It was recorded way back in 1991 for an album that's been out of print for over 15 years…
This track was created as part of the October 2010 Alonetone 24 hr challenge. The challenge is to make 24 minutes of original music in one 24 hour period.
Just a basic dance track because its just fun to bounce around sometimes. Also another excuse to use a growly bass sound... a "60 Hz Hum Bass" soundfont I had clearly neglected for too long.

Some experimentation that started with sandbags saying that he was looking for a wood sound. I responded with marimba plus monster reverb... and I quickly noodled together an ambient thing.
