New one from me. It's ended up as a bit of a "crying into yer beer at Bob's Country Bunker" sort of song lol... I've been sat on these lyrics in some form or another for absolutely years. I first wrote them one very dark night a few years after…

What can one say but, wow! This also has an Hank Williams feel in parts. The emotion of it. Seemed to be rather common in country music in his time. Gospel..soul..blues. You are quite the alchemist. This one goes on the space station with me too. :)

An unusual traditional tune from the first Scartaglen album way back in 1984. Going through stuff the other day and ran across the LP and couldn't even remember the tune or having recorded it. I played guitar on this track

Electric blues. Recorded 2007. I was learning how to use my DAW and trying to figure out how a one-man-band could get to sound like a bunch of old bluesers in a sweaty bar... ***** **Rabbit Boy - A A J Russe** Well she don't mind crying…

tale of a few past relationships that just never could get to the "next level" and sort of a tribute to aging punksters.

Wicked vocal performance...Jim Carrol comes to mind. Cool.

this is a song that came from the pain of dealing with idiots that just dont get it on a daily basis. newest mix tries to deal with vocal vs instruments imbalance.

Ultra cool! Dusty, rustic spook. Vocals are amazing. And the guitars make me want to spark up! ...and that's exactly what I'm a gonna do.

This one's for Johnny, who encouraged me to record this country-ish version, it's one-take, warts and all.

This is an oldie. Like, last century oldie. I programmed the drums myself, which I'm kind of proud of.
