An intrumental Track I put together when Thinking about my family.
One Guitar represents my son, one my wife and one me......
Two Versions with Vox (Jim Higgins and Geir Alfsen) are also in existance.. not sure how to link to this site…
I wanted to play more directly with noise of various kinds so this piece focuses less on techniques and fancy plugins and more on selection & arrangement of sounds.
I spent many hours going through Reaktor ensembles I've downloaded searching…
Here I am again listening to this amazing track. One of the things I like about it is it's length; time to indulge. Reflection and digestion. So many interpretations. A moving yet inviting space. :)
The only thing I think it lacks is more in the bass spectrum... I just switched to my AKG reference headphones and it's deffo missing in that area. That's not a criticism, I just feel this would be so much more powerful with some subby humm... :)
A folksy number inspired by the stories my nan told me many moons ago about her uncle Herbie..
Herein lies the story, of a man named Herbie Jones.
Not a million miles away from a man you might have known.
A miner in the twenties, blue scars…

Dedicated to my friend Paul Lennon.
Once You asked me
If I could see the end
It's okay to tell the truth
I don't want you to pretend
And I said I would not lie
But I don't believe it ends
It goes on And on Forever Forever
It goes on…
Well, song 10 finally. A bit on the heavy side, some odd FX, strange vox, an Ibanez, The ever present harmonica, and some help from Illegal Alien Autopsy.
This was the first song I tracked for RPM. But, since my pen has run out of ink this month…

Was there a female vocalist in there? Give her more space. Otherwise I really enjoyed this. :)
Your headache isn't transmitted to the listeners, trust me, this is quite something, a very pleasant listen. :)
great song man, love the keys and the drums. Ar the drums recorded live or a program?
These sounds evoke a deep state of wonder and fear, passion and disgust, amazement. Keep it coming, sandbags.
I like the way this is not really 'in your face', it's gentle and sincere...
Bloody gorgeous. The intro swept me up straight away.
