This is GREAT! I love that you've been faithful to the melody but put it in a rock setting with a gentle intro/outro, light and shade - very cool! I really prefer covers that take elements of the original, but bring something totally new - like this! :-) Thank you! :-)

Another remixed tune to add to the Goran Bregovic collection. Let me know what you think! I usually hate house/trance/ 4-floor beats but this was fun to remix and program.

Slack key guitar and baritone ukulele. Hula version. Pauoa Liko Ka Lehua is about the beautiful flowers (Lehua) of Pauoa. The double entendre (kaona or hidden meaning) involves a girl with swaying hips.:)

I like the instrumental additions in the intro. I feel like the live band could perform that. I am feeling the build up during the vocals...we should talk in person soon!

Submersive. The perfect headphone track. This one has earned a home on my iPod.

This is written by my friend Stuart Walker, and he gave me permission to record this for my RPM 2009 album. It reminded me of early Leonard Cohen so I took it in that direction with the finger picking and spookiness

I like the atmosphere you create here - there's something about this track that draws people to want to cover it. (I think it's the lyrics - they're really good.) Heck, we could probably do an entire album of different people covering this one Gumbo track.

That didn't stop her. Main vocals/bleeps by Shreya, keys and backing vocals by me. Actually, my baby daughter was in my arms while I was doing those vocals and she started crying. Even though I cropped that part, I didn't use any noise reduction…

Sudara says: Just found this on my iPod. Basically it was the first full mix of the tune, before it passed back to glu and then back to Sudara for the "original" version. This is heavier, more energy, less fraility, and in Sudara's opinion a…

I keep trying to find time to do a remix of this (I still have the original files) - but in the meantime, you guys keep putting out these outrageously great remixes and raising the bar each time. Excellent. ;)

Sitting in my car waiting for my wife and checking my email when I see this pop up. Glad alonetone plays through this phone and into the car stereo. You sure know how to make a song sound good, and the uke is perfect. I grinned through the whole thing! Thanks for redoing it.
