This is a song I wrote with Lisa Purdy (who sings the harmony vocal) about the experience of depression. Jim Bouchard plays lap steel - I'm playing/singing the rest.
Pulled this one together in bits and pieces as time permitted. This has been one of my favs, lately!

Oh, yes, this is my loopless experiment, too!
The guitar is a little jangley/harsh. Maybe try to EQ it a little bit differently. I really like the percussion embellishments like the triangle and subtle crash cymbals throughout. I like your voice. It sounds like Bowie in spots.
This little ragtime number began life as just a snippet, written as background music for a home movie years ago. For the hard core ragtime buffs, I know this is not quite syncopated enough to be true ragtime, but hopefully its fun and bouncy…
While my wife and I were travelling back down the coast of California (near Big Sur) from a vacation around New Years, we stopped at a turnout over a cliff, and took a bunch of video of at least 15 California Condors, flying and hanging out on…

Hi Scott, The primary backing vocal is myself. The echo vocals are Gail60, you've probably heard here over on MJ. DavisAmerica did some organ. Apokafunk did the leads along with EEFliess.
Hey Mark... an excurtion into Alonetone... huh... sounds great... who did the back vox on this... are you doing any falsetto here or should I recognise some voices...

OMG its the most beautiful Christmas song ive ever heard!! An incluesion of Turkey culling and cracker pulling would have been the star on the rather wobbly bug infeasted tree.
Written for Oberlin production of "Closer" - metal samples from the oberlin scene shop and produced by Alec Longstreth banging on everything he can find. You can also check out [Driving in Rain](http://alonetone.com/sudara/tracks/39/) which uses…
This one is dedicated to my dear friend John. Thanks for changing my life for the better....
Also a big thanks to our own Greg Connor who helped me get the chords for my own uke accompaniment, and who kindly played the beautiful guitars…
An electronic track from the Dead In The Water sessions. I thought the Last FM version was missing something, so I went in to fine-tune it.
This is the end-result of that fine-tuning.
The track deals with how there are usually no easy outs…

Somehow, this one has squeaked passed me, until now! Interesting environment for this topic. I do like it. I got the biggest impact from the lyrics.
