Full moon, full of mystery
Full moon, shadows thru the trees
I can feel your spell, I’m beggin at you please
So long I been straight and true
No wrong has come into view
I can feel that dark side, all because of you
Way down…

With Or Without You
Try to get along but it takes two
It’s a Whole lot of me and not much you
Working myself right to the bone
Thinking that I am all alone
Just like a monkey up in the tree
Throwing your feces straight…
"Just like a monkey up in the tree
Throwing your feces straight at me" -- definitely my favorite lines in this number! Such a beautiful song, so gorgeous, and the lyrics are so powerful!

Thank you very much for taking the time to listen to one of my sloppily recorded ideas! I have had the worst time with basic song construction and even coming up with more than one verse or chorus and then completely loosing my drive. I'm not under the impression that my riffs or ideas for songs suck or anything but I fell cumbersome because I have no endgame and without a point , what's the point right?? ;) anyway, that leads me to my reason for swinging by at the moment, thank you tremendously for the kind words on "4 the kisses...." I waswondering if you would consider putting a vocal track to it please? I understand fully if you can't or simply don't want to, but if you do..... !!!!!!! I would be eternally greatful and for the rest of my stay at alonetone.com I would consider naming my 1st born Greg

I wrote the lyrics and melody to this song a week or so ago when I was feeling that unsettling disconnected feeling we all get from time to time when we're missing the people we love.... Then I gave myself the challenge to try a few things with…
A new song, still just a sketch, recorded live at Winterland studios for my demo. Story about a guy living in Tuscon, AZ, lamenting the irony of the beauty and hardship of living in the desert.
Fellow alone toner Gary Talbott kindly volunteered to add some of his own vocals and strings to this song, so I gladly took him up on it. Fun to keep evolving this one. Thanks Gary!
I was up early this morning before the children so i got me and Les to do and ad-lib song in one take....i wish i had turned the mic down a bit as you can hear me hitting the strings but hey its a kind of percussion...isn't it?

I finally got a chance to listen to this on some decent speakers.
Nice going guys! It just bounces along with great vocal, harmony, and instrumental accents.

This one's a bit of a ponderous beastie.
It can be whatever you want it to be. For me, it's got a lot to do with Sunday 18th June 1815.
