#RPM Challenge 2013#
Oh it caught me by surprise
I Looked into your pretty eyes
Nothing more than a simple kiss
And a moment like this
We don’t need no fancy cars
Diamond Rings that shine like stars
You never really asked for more
Than moments…

Here is what Buck said he added:
"So I used the tremolophone (vibes) and tuba sounds in Garageband and played them on the keyboard."
"Hey Motorman" was written for the 100 year celebration of the Ariel Lift Bridge.
The bridge was originally built in 1907 with a gondola that went from side to side carrying passengers and vehicles. It was later replaced with a lift system.
One of my other hobbies is watching wildlife in the area. I'm the happiest with a pair of binoculars around my neck and my hiking boots laced up.

I would love to see one of those owls in the wild. Unfortunately, I'd have to go out where they are, and when it comes to winter I'm a great indoorsman ! My Mom would have loved this. She was an avid bird watcher and feeder. I learned a lot from my childhood excursions tagging along in the woods and fields.

As an old forester, wildlife man...I'd venture a guess this is a pretty young "flyer." Great sscenes, notice old insulator on wire near shed...and the banjo music is wonderful...just wonderful...best to the two of you...v.g.
a small quiet piece for a Sunday evening,, all four string sections are present here,, violin, viola, cello and contrabass,,it's kind of fun to try to mix, and pass the various themes around,,
I haven't mixed the song yet - it's really raw. Hopefully, I'll have it done by next month.

My instrumental cover of Christina Aguilera's song "Beautiful" I guess I am ready for the old folks home!!!! ...now that I am doing ballads!!!
I just happen to really like the chord progression and thought I would try an instrumental cover…
I wrote this little ditty back in May, did an acoustic demo and then played it to one or two people. I always meant to do something a bit more, er, "expansive" with the thing... So I stuck it in the corner for a bit and forgot about it.

From the early 70's...an old Crusaders tune with Larry Carlton..I bought this licensed backing track with no guitars....so the guitars are me... drums , Bass and keys are the backing track..
This version of the song tells more of how we felt when we wrote the song. It is very much who we are. So you get a better picture of us in this version of Sabbath.

Cool! Was this at Cleary Lake or Murphy-Hanrehan? And aren't snow owls nocturnal? The banjo playing is OK, too.

Stopped back for another listen.
Very pretty.
This is good. Lots of feeling. I don't know why . . . It makes me want go grab my harmonica and play along.
Good song . . . Harmonica sounds good too. I like the talking part. I'm with Andrew. We should have had one last party, clothing optional.
Oh . . . That's pretty! 2 hours? You are cooking! Nice guitar work.
You gotta love a song that holds the phrase: *"I got over lovin you, come out of it alive"* I really enjoyed this one Terry!
Nice and tight. Very clean recording. Well done Andrew. It would be fun to hear the acoustic version.
SWEET . . . Good Gawd !!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice sounding guitars there, my friend.
Very Pretty!
Nice Harmonica Playing Mark! I don't know why you wanted me to post this song on my site. The LAW is going to find you either way!
I'm impressed. Nice playing James!
You can really get some great tone on the guitar to go with those nice licks! That first beer went down fast. It's a *"two beer"* song for me.
Good *Old Fashioned* Folk Song
Lots of trouble . . . but still happy! That's the way to do it!
Ron . . . You got me laughing out loud !!!
Thanks Terry. I corrected my mistake.
I just got back from vacation and what do you know . . . more great music from *FDR*. It's a *GOOD LIFE*
I think I wrote this during the Perseid a few years ago. We sat out in the yard in the lawn chairs at 3:00 AM. Nice version my friend !!!
Fantastic tone on the guitar!
Good song with well written lyrics.
