I, like you, use to do electric guitar in my HS years, but also migrated to acoustic. Is that progress? I think so -- this song here would be much less effective if juiced up with distortion and wah wah and the other toys of our youth. This song is hard core as it is, and needs no electricity to get its message across.

I recon this is my favorite Connor tune thus far. That is some coolacious strumming -- quite nifty in fact. The vocals and harmonica are exceptional. Yeah, this one really does in for me.

Nice tune. I'm getting a sense that the roller coaster of Life is hitting one of the low spots for you at the moment. I was at a CSN concert back in the 80s, where David Crosby, introducing the song said. "When life lands you in serious sh**, you do the only thing you CAN do... CARRY ON!" And the boys launched into it. And It Was Good.

Great lyrics, love the Simian reference. I once read a book about difficult people, but he tore it up and tossed it out. The tune is tight and druid in feel. I so like this one 5 stars

I'm just now, this morning, listening to this with nice speakers. This is a *GREAT* Song, and I'm so impressed with the quality of the recording from that little Tascam recorder. The blend of vocals, bass, rhythm and lead sounds balanced to me. It feels like we accomplished something!
