Hmmm... MY GarageBand doesn't have a tuba sound. I'd have used it if it did! Good choice for a country solo instead of the usual weeping pedal steel! :-D
how funny that we can lose our little tunes at times and how cool that they can b rediscovered,, oh and don't let me forget to add,, A VERY NICE SONG thanks and were all lucky now that you have found and shared this

Oh what a great song to listen to on this day of -45 degrees below here in Minnesota. You two do an especially beautiful job presenting the music and the thought. :) c

*GREAT Fresh Approach*
I love it! The vocal on this is top notch, and the accompaniment is right there with it.
Oops . . . . I pressed *REPLAY* again.
If I'm not mistaken, this is Paul's 4th time around recreating this song . . . . That just tickles me!
This was a song I wrote last year, and haven't recorded until last night. We had a jam session at my place, so you'll hear some folks you know on this live recording.. Feels like a old time sing-a-long as I listened again this morning.

My favorite song by Jane Bowers
She was still alive back when I 1st learned
this song from the Kingston Trio.
I didn't know, back then, that I could have met her.
WHEN I WAS YOUNG by Jane Bowers
When I was young and dreams were new…
Thank you Greg Connor for putting his wonderful harmonica on this song. Enjoy!!
My little steam train
Rolling down the tracks
My little steam train
Going to take me back
All aboard!

This is a *GREAT* song Nick !!! You have captured the essence perfectly.
And even though I have told my wife repeatedly that the song is about a Train . . . well, let's just say she's on to you.
a little bit of blues....live in the living room at the end perfect timing the wife opens the door ans says See you later.........

I wasn't going to post this - it's the original demo that the finished version is based on. This is the same lead vocal and resonator part that's on the full version - no EQ or anything, just the naked tracks. There's two bars of silence before…
One of my better Psych Folk recordings. Intro voice and keyboards by Starry Nightmoth. BG rhythm/drums generated using a Yamaha E313 KB. Lyrics, music and all other instruments and vocals are my fault.

Here's a clip from a new folk single I just released. You can hear the whole song in the video below, or on the song page on my website.
This features 2 instruments people love to hate: banjo and accordion (in this case, melodeon). But both…
Comments on Greg Connor's stuff
What a happy tune with just one little cloud. A great little sing along, "blue sky, clouds go by..."
I tried commenting earlier but it didn't work... nice one here.
Hey Greg is this the famous Uncle Buck? This is really nice...has a different pop feel for you....this could be a hit!!!!
Cool tex-mex feel
Nice...like how your vocal sits right in there.
Fantastic Piece of writing...love the arrangement :)

I like the rattle… makes me think that this peson is a real snake. And the tuba cracks me up, too. Send the jerk a copy

You, sir, and an incurable romantic. Don't seek to get cured.
Nice work, especially like the banjo.
Outstanding Greg...love it....fun!!
Great tune, great chord changes adds up to a great song :)
I love that banjo pumping positive ions out of my upbeat bose speakers.
Another great song, Greg!
I just want to know if Rita puckered up and kissed you when she heard this! Another good one, Greg! Thanks for putting it up

I love how your voice comes in, nice and low. And . . . then the build up. Well done!
nicely done
*BEAUTIFUL MUSIC GUYS* This is some articulate music with the perfect vocal track blended in.
Nothing better than a visual image of a *Tattoo'd Lady*
Your voice fits this type of song perfectly. You have the ability to really belt it out.
Yep . . . this is a keeper! Nice going guys!

This really got my old heart pumping this morning!
Yes, this is good . . . and what a great message!
This is *VERY* Pretty! Nice song writing Colleen! It's amazing that we can create something like this with only 2 bottles of wine!
This song has that *"Relax and let it wash over you"* feeling. Well done James
Interesting . . . Now what could we do with it?
W O W ! Now I understand all of the previous comments!
Very Pretty. I think you have one of those "soft centers" that you always hear about the tough talkers showing occasionally.

You can *REALLY* belt it out! I'm with Roger . . . I'm smiling!
A nice easy feel to this. Just what you'd expect from a *"fine looking woman"*
Raw talent is what this shows.
This might be one of my favorite *Gene Eric Man* songs.
Beautiful song! I love the video. I got a kick out of your comment regarding banjo and accordion.
