If my memory recalls right this one was recorded in 1999 when I first picked up a guitar. It was recorded on a vhs camcorder and then later recorded onto my pc back then. I am on the acoustic doing the rhythm while my friend Sean is on the lead…
I walk 13 miles of barbwire just to sing my song
I walk 13 miles of barbwire just to sing my song
I walk 13 miles of barbwire just to sing my song
I walk 65 miles all along
I walk 13 miles of barbwire just to sing my song
I walk 65 miles…
:O this one's nice too, maybe I could learn from you? My song's all rough :/ I need to get a guitar in there. Well i'm more than happy to follow the shit out of your music. Cheers.
should correct myself, the ducking music behind vocal limiter instance had the wet knob at the 30 or so range. Anything higher makes it hard to sing and listen to yourself at the same time. I worked on a remix I'll get around to uploading when I return home.
Thanks the 3 of you. MTC, simple. I use Fruity Loops so I ran it through some stereo separation methods and a instance of the fruity limiter with the "ducking music behind vocals" preset, set to 50 percent so it has a bit of a delay too and threw on an instance of camelphat3 to filter out some unwanted frequencies and boost some stuff. I hope that makes sense :)
really not much synth, all experiments with effects over guitars and then stretched or feedback recording problems that turned into dial tone like drone sounds. Awesome either way you brought it, dude!
The Lament of Saint Patrick’s Snakes is an ambient piece using a home made instrument of six guitar strings stretched over a 28? by 3? by 1/2? oak board tuned with zither pins by ear to a JI open chord. The instrument is then bowed with a viola…
my tribute to a very underrated, underappreciated band. 40 yrs ago thier self titled lp came out, and i cover one from the lp as a tribute on thier 40th anniversary. im not a lead guitarist, and a new singer, so please bear with me on that.
I was listening to Jesmiaus earlier Trick of your love (RPM2012) and it gave me an idea for my first RPM this year...so thanks Will...... hope you all enjoy this....i did doing it...they say smoking weed can make you schitzophrenic but i’m not…
we fought the moon and the moon came back
we fought the sun and the sun came back
we fought the moon and the moon came back
we fought the sun and the sun rose up
we sought the lord and dance, said he
we saved the word and preach it on the sabbath…
Thanks Regs for making my crappy music in to great songs.
Enjoy!!!
Sunday morning and she’s gone
Sunday morning all day long
She’s gone
Now she’s gone I don’t feel a thing
I’m so happy i’m free again
She’s gone
She thought…
i'm lonely too as I arrive to an empty home after the bar stool I gave up for another lonely person, to me listening to this lonely demo. Thanks for the listen, I need to work on more folky songs. I'm still finding my voice, my hands, however, remain to bleed. Cheers.
sneak peak at what I've been upto
this one is still up for collab as it could go far into different direction.
Inspiration comes from albums from bands like Isis, Russian Circles and Metallica.
Well Reg has found himself in some difficult times in the past and has needed his time in the Asylum just to let time catch up with his mind.........this track is about such a time...when his affair with lovemebaby turned sour.....
the wall, the nurse that loved me and everything that seems to find a place inside my head all the same, great stuff, sorry I have not been more available lately, been a roller coaster ride of being sick, on vacations and now without ability to work on music. soon be back to drawing boards! :)

Cool underlying riff - liking the tension. (Whatever it is, I like this tuning too.)
Moonlit and funky!
Moving stuff.

Thanks. Small amount of synth guitar picking with real guitar strumming made for a huge picking sound. heh. :)

not happy either...last song from Wavering Radiant was bad ass!
nice guestures on those guitars, make for a cool atmosphere and image of the title of the song :)
I'd love to get a musician to lend guitar to this, I just don't know where to start with the guitar on a track like this.
