Thanx Andrew! ... yes, same vocal track ... I cleaned it a bit by tweaking with the samples, reducing amplitude around pops, but could not get rid of it completely ... and no, I didn't use a shield and I regret it, 'cause I rarely go back and record a tune ... we'll have to win the battle with this one ... I'm so happy you like this ... using it as one of my demo tracks now for US tour booking. Cheers
Still like it :-)
Faved this one as well. It's got a bigger, wider feel. I think it's the same lead vocal track? If not it's still got popping on it - do you use a pop-shield?

I doesn’t matter what I say
All the time we spent is gone now
Taken out
You cry
I'm not even asking why
Your head's up in the sky now
Your alive
When I ask you to explain…
Hey guys ... thank you all for your comments ... this is heart warming and insightful .. I'm actually planning an alternative mix for this one so I might loose or reduce the electric guitar track ... as to the popping on the vox, you are absolutely right ... there is also way too much bass ... I will work on it and re-post ... you are of great support ... keep on commenting. xxx Dror

Love the accent in the vocal it seems. To give it more meaning ...pretty much agree with what Adrew says ....the vocal and the song is where it's at......

I've commented before, but this started playing after listening to something else.
And I had to comment again: I LOVE this song and your vocal. (You asked for comments - the ONLY thing that distracts me is the popping on the mic on the lead vocal, I'd want you to address that. I suspect you want to work on the lead guitar - I think you can almost leave that if you want, the song and the vocal is where this is at for me).
Wish I could Favourite it again! :-)

Faved when I was only one minute into it.
For me, even as a work in progress, this is a powerful performance of a powerful song. I'll have to check out more of your stuff.
I had a basic melody and fragments of the words swirling around my head in the last few days ... so I sat down and made a song out if ... it took several rounds of playing to figure out how to present this, being part 5/4 and part 4/4 ... I finally…

Oh, where have you been Peggy May?
Who did you screw for tips today?
Or did you end up in a car?
Or did you really touch the stars?
Way back when you were just a child
Your tantrums threw you to the side
Picking breadcrumbs off the floor
Never…
Reach Out
Try and touch the things that fear you most
See how they can disappear as ghosts
Watch them fade away as you draw near,
Its coming clear
The pain behind the fear – is gone
Its time for you to start now feeling right
To feel you body…
thanks for taking the time to go through the tracks by the way.. is really appreciated. I love this one, and will be returning to your RPM album et al soon!
time goes by, we never notice til we die
this is the why, the how the where the goodbye
maybe the preacher told you right from wrong
maybe you think the wait is far too long
to worry your head with every little thing
cause life is just a dream…
Back from my holiday in the Lakes and couldn't wait to start Jamming with Les in Dm……. to one of the Reverends Backers. The Reverend Mike is giving me guitar lessons and this is number 3……..Two guitar tracks fighting for supremacy…..hope you enjoy…

So I was locked in the broom-cupboard, checking out some old songs that need recording.
I'd just picked one and then suddenly this thing came out of nowehere. It started with one of those guitarist doodles that other musicians love so much…

A new original from me. Another one-voice, one-guitar, "live" performance in my broom-cupboard. This time it's the good ole tin guitar.

Beautiful song indeed. I like the way you made a feature of the ending. Very pretty, most effective.

Nice guitar sound.
I like it. The song has a subtle power that keeps building.
Good one.
Great song Dror! And, love the guitar! Hey welcome back from your travels.
The flute gives this a wonderful folky flavour.
A most dramatic folk song, well performed!
Very nice! Love the flute too!
cool tune.
Love the attitude (and the accent)!
Well, she's very naughty then! Good lyrics and music, nice little touch of harmonica.
