Literally hot off the press, this is how my life is going right now.
(c)2012 T.A.Beckett
I used to work in an office.
White collar job just the same.
Order this and order that.
Put the Devil to shame.
Then one day the boss man
Asked me to change…
This is another song originally written in a country music vein, but through the 12 step process it's been reformed. The lyrics came from a night at a bar where I noticed a young woman who was trying too hard to have fun. She looked much too…
This song comes from comparing my behavior to that of my children. And I have found out that history does indeed repeat itself.
Thanks for stopping by to listen. I'll post the lyrics as soon as I find them.

Yeah I feel ya! A great compilation of sounds. Diggin' your breakdown. Very interesting and original techniques being employed here! Groovy as hell! Rock on!
I once worked for a retail company in the computer industry. One of my fellow buyers took a job at another company, then returned six months later as a salesman for that company. This is a song of how he might have felt returning to the city…
That guitar really caught me. I like the break into acoustic too.
Quote: *"I wrote this song some time ago with much more of a country feel to it. Thanks to the 12 step process I'm better now,"*
I feel your pain, I grew up with Country Music. After years of professional help, I'm almost healed.

Sam did a great job on this song. Both the lead and backing vocals are hers. The song could use a little editing, but I thought you'd all like to hear it anyway.
Enjoy.

As you can see, I sometimes duplicate titles with different lyrics and musical styles. This one just popped into my head one day and wouldn't leave until I wrote it down.
Enjoy.

"Hey Motorman" was written for the 100 year celebration of the Ariel Lift Bridge.
The bridge was originally built in 1907 with a gondola that went from side to side carrying passengers and vehicles. It was later replaced with a lift system.

This one is my favorite and chills me every time I hear it.
It never, ever, gets old.

A brief glimpse, but that's all. Inspired by last April. It's for everyone, but no one in particular. Yes, this one gives more than a passing nod to Ham and Evans. Thanks gents!
Just stopped by for a listen. I agree with the lyrics on this. Seems to me, based on what I've heard, that the good Lord takes us all as we are. At least I hope he does.

Written for Mick's RPM Holiday Challenge...
Anyone who's experienced "Black Friday" against their will should find this entertaining.
YOU MIGHT HAVE A SHITTY CHRISTMAS
Waking up at 3:00 a.m.
Why the hell did I try to sleep at all…
This is a cover of a Sting/Alison Krauss song that was on the Cold Mountain movie soundtrack. This version is a darker, more rock version compared to the original. I got a huge assist from guitar wizard Bob Beal III for the ending solo. Enjoy.
Product of noodling around. Lead guitars are a combo of UAD's Nigel plugin and the Fractal Axe Fx. Clean guitars are the Fractal. The outro guitars are my Princeton Recording amp.
I played the piano's through my midi guitar and Axon. You can…
Enjoyed the entire album, and downloaded it so I can listen to it on my mp3 player. Now if I could just get it working again . . .
Very good music indeed.

Big grins for your lyrics. Been there, thinking that. Gawd but I'm glad we sold that old box of a minivan years ago. ER

I like this. I thought like this as a teenager. There are a number of girls in high school who never knew I had a "thing" for them. Oh, well. ER
Loved it. Very nice. This is a question I ask my better half every day. She hasn't answered the question directly. I wonder why? ER
After listening to accoustic guitar and ambient electronica, your music certainly cleared out the cobwebs in my attic. Yowsa! ER
Liked your songs very much. Liked this one most of all. ER
