I'm not sure what you've heard or not, but I always specify in the track descriptio when someone else is playing something, and I usually list the instrumentation when it's more than synth+drum programming. If all you've heard are songs with samples from other folks then you haven't heard much... the majority of tunes with real instruments are performed by me. You may here me playing any of the following: two acoustic guitars, electric guitar (usually played with a bow) violin, fretless bass, 7 different bamboo flutes, 4 clay flutes, didgeridoo, kalimba, I was borrowing two tablas and a tambourine from a friend but I had to return them. Also play the kitchen sink, keys, pots and pans, hooves and other household items. DISCLAIMER: I do not claim to be good at any of these instruments! :-)

out of curiousity...what instruments do you play? I think all I have heard on your songs are samples and other people playing? Not sure because you have so much stuff! cya.

The 'ebow' part is an actual bow over electric guitar strings, but I wish I had an ebow- they can sound amazing. @ K. Crunchy slow driving music, almost a claustrophobic feel imparted... the e-bow and intriguing percussion really do stand out as unique elements, and you pull this all together into a very "cool" piece of music.

It starts out with trashcan drumming.. makes me want to move! Then it evolves with all the rhythmic synth layers... I likey.. If you are passively looking for input, I'd recommend thinking about how to utilize more negative space to emphasize that trash can rhythm at parts...I think you do this in a different way.. in sections rather than throughout the track.. and well, my recommendation comes with a big fat disclaimer... I tend to want to hear the wall of sound layers deferring to tribal beats :-) , Maybe gate or cut out parts of those polyrhythms on certain beats. I like the grinding end too.

Damn.. it makes me want to throw this book across the room and hook up the studio proper.
