First day back from the jungle in Central America, remixed this tune. Had to start off the new year in the U.S.A reminding myself that captivity will keep me returning to the jungle forever.

"Move your body to the drumbeat of war..."
I will update with lyrics later, this song is a work in progress but I wanted to get it online before I start hating it. Did you really think I would end the year without a political song? Jingo Bells…

Very nice, love the way in which the intro is integrated into the song. Just like Matthew Herbert's most recent release, I really enjoy when political songs can also be extremely catchy. Good job!

it is good to taste happiness. it is good to want happiness and not always have it. it causes us to work, to create, to achieve. here you have worked, practiced, and achieved 2:34 minutes of happiness. it is good. 0x0
I originally built this up to some cliche rocking acme but there is no need, so I peeled it back kept it raw. Thanks Su for the critiques on the levels.
Since I am not participating in the 24hr album today, here I am in spirit! This track was…
24 hours of music making for 2008.
Yup. This is a "Gaiman variation" which means that I stopped at 24 hours and this is what I've got. Not 24 min, but it is a "Noble Failure"

an exposition, traditional of the raga, bilaskani todi, transformed into a slightly ,dark ambient piece of music, exploring musical landscapes, with a scenario,as if for film music, which my pieces normally are.
I do three things after waking up these days: I shower. I make coffee. I play this song and drink my coffee.
Nothing complicated. Nothing fancy. Just some basic fingerpicking to test my motor skills and bring some aural sunshine into my day.

not perfect but good enough to do a 'best of'. for us it's been a magic moment…
Even though I wasn't submitting myself to the 24 hour torture, I couldn't let the weekend pass without posting at least something...
Another Elysium powered track.
And no, that's not really a sample of Darth Vader. Wouldn't want Lucas…
I'm really digging these. Planning on expanding them at all? extending length?.... separating them? I really like the melody at 14:00. what a mood in that one. Why can I only heart something once on here!?
don't be so hard on yourself. Featuring your home-brewed software deserves mad props! I like this track, and I look forward to your release of Elysium. Good work!
A masterpiece indeed. I am wowed, but not surprised. Your work is always amazing. A favorite of many. Are you planning on exploring any of these ideas more? You could easily turn this into an hour long album. Each piece is so well defined and poignant. kudos.
Comments on glu's stuff

As usual - this is just Glu-tasic. Definite ear candy. Yum!
great!
This is catchy.. I like the way the percussion, breath instruments and vocals play off each other..
This one glides. I love lighter dnb style fare. It don't always gotta be so dark and paranoid!
That's a really great arrangement. Very clear, with so much going on. Very nice work. I'd expect no less.
Inspirational rythms.
