Yeah I wrote this with a little help form Dmoneye. Here are the lyrics:
2008 presidential (s)election
It’s the 2008 presidential selection, not election
planned to perfection by media's erection
for soundbyte speeches by political leeches

i love this track. if it's ok with you, i'd like to mix a few of your tracks into an opening dj set for a concert called "sound ecology" on my new music series, mobtown modern, in baltimore. that'll be in october, featuring compositions that are inspired by the environment. i'll make sure you are credited in the program notes. check out the site for the series:

You score extra points for coming up with the word, "bioelectrophilia" I'm sending one of my classical music buddies who wants to get into electronica (good electronica) over here to listen to your stuff.
i really love what you're doing, using your own field recordings of environmental sounds as sampling material. do you know stephen vitiello's work? less beat-oriented, but touching on some similar ideas of "sound ecology". keep these tracks coming.
This song was made with only two short bird samples.
1) A wild screaming pija and 2)parrot. I made it last night after taking an antihistamine for all the chigger bites. paz.
This is a new song that started as a guitar pick, then got some words. I finally recorded this. It has 3 parts. Nylon guitar, Electric and voice. This is part of the "human racing" series I am working on.
Matter is surprising
Not what…
I'm almost totally happy with this song except it is for the mix. I would appreciate any comments on how to improve it. Is too bassy and the mix has a big blip in the beginning where it gets louder for a second. I know I can fix some of that with…
nice track.. love the lyrics! Because you are looking for comments to improve your mix... you could also try the alonetone forum section "track therapy" -- it's a little sleepy but maybe more folks will start posting if more start using it.

I recommend doing something with the percussion to compliment that nice bass; drums sit too low in the mix- bring them out... and they could use some variation to keep the track moving/building. Nice song idea, I look forward to hearing the final mix. cheers!
Fiddling around with an open G tuning and I found the chord that 'Prodigal Son' is based on (a Robert Wilkins tune from the 30s made famous by the Stones) so I had a play around with it, stopped for dinner and came back and wrote the lyrics…
New stuff has been slow in coming for me lately, but I found this lurking on my hard drive from a while back. Frankly don't remember how I did it except that it was all live to 2 tracks and at one point one of my synth patches glitched out on…
This is my first recording and not great quality. I have ordered a better quality microphone, just waiting for it to arrive. Quality aside, I was hoping for some constructive critcism/comments on my version of this song.
yeah, it was a quixotic ambition I had about a year ago, before I fully admitted to myself that everything has been done before. Nevertheless, thanks for listening, and I hope you enjoyed it!
yo Nitro!!! Yer fix is coming. about 5 hot cakes... one just uploaded.. but the best is soon to come.. early next week. I kidnapped a Peruvian until Sunday; you should come meet him! After I hand him over to the proper authorities I will finish these tunes. You will love them....
