Hey, James Michael Taylor, after I listened to your song, and wrote my praise of it, I couldn't get back on Facebook.....couldn't get it to open my page. It's that mass shooting in New Zealand has them freaked out, double checking every post. That murderer just killed all those people in our homes on Facebook. If we don't stop them, we probably won't survive in more ways than we can count.

This is authentic, deep Texas traditional, story telling song writing. Damned hard to do this well.

It was early in November
I'd been doing some Time Out
Some little thing I was doing
Made my mom and daddy shout
I could see that they were angry
And I knew without a doubt
I have a new love
Of course she doesn’t know
How can a work of art
Know when lovers come and go
And when the artist is the art!
My eyes are the eyes of the beholder
And my eyes are the eyes of the world…

This is a great song. It is one that I do not play enough. It was one of the songs that kind of got swamped with the wave of great songs... great albums... that JMT had in that rush.

MONOLOGUE
I found a hole, it's in the wall
And reaching up, I crawled inside
And to the stars I gave a call

I do not seek to hang around…
Very interesting commentary...
And, thank you for listening to my song.

I have been wanting to do some Cream covers for awhile now and with the passing of Jack Bruce it seemed an appropriate time to record some sort of tribute to him and the band.
This is an instrumental song I composed roundabout 7 years ago. Finally we got around to recording it with real instruments, and the band is:
Frank Zax: Guitars
Andy Gupta: Bass

Comments on James Michael Taylor's stuff
You have a great style, very distinctive. A complete story in less than 3 minutes.

That's cool. Lots of layers. 3D.
It really has that driving-down-the-blvd feel.
Very blusey. Great guitar sound.
Soooo pretty.
Like a sound trac to a slow roller coaster...
You are singing in the key of B. This is very cool.

Love your voice.
