Your father was very sensible that night! So well presented Kavin, thanks! My mother (5) was awoken by her grandfather to show her the Araura Borealis, she said it was a gigantic purple curtain floating in the sky.

Very evocative....I remember seeing a meteor shower in rthe UK mid eighties...the display,well it was gobsmacking....which means it leaves you speechless ! 80)
