Tasty.
Does sound very summery - almost enough to block out the rain going on here.
Maybe it's cos I'm a guitarist, but I felt no "rambling on" without the vocal. It's almost got an Allman Brothers vibe to it.
Just realised I hadn't listened to this...
There's quite an amazing breadth of styles you handle. I feel like I do electric stuff and acoustic stuff, but it's all pretty much rock-pop with hints of blues, country, and folk in varying degrees. The only time I step out of this is if I approach the recording machine without a finished song and just wing it (rarely finish any of those though!).
Another nice one :-)
lol - that'll teach me to post before the owner has fixed the title etc...
Good excuse to give it a second listen. And reading the "About" now - yeah, I thought David Bowie when I was listening to "75e67 c5 etc" (actually, that might have been what made me think of David Bowie!)
A bit of comic relief is good when you have some writers block. I had he song mapped out years before I recorded it. I need to record its companion "Won't you please squeeze my udder Farmer Joe?".
Did this many years ago. It came together very quickly. There are know synths, all guitars and backwards vocals, sped up vocals, detuned vocals.....whacked sounds. I wrote the lyrics on the spot. I love its deep personal message...lol!
This one kind of sneaks up on me. First listen didn't grab me a lot - nice guitars and all, but...
Second listen, I was right there. Nice groove and cool song on top of it.
Yeah, I can here all sorts of progression going on in these tracks. But even here you can tell you've got the ears. You've had a big effect on me the last few days - not sure what I'm recording next, but I can tell you the acoustic is sat on it's stand looking worried now!! lol
I got a new amplifier and instead of doing what I should have been doing I did this. It gets a little crazy in the middle and its microtonal so the vocals are gonna sound out - but I enjoyed it. Yeah, those be drum loops. 15 notes per octave.
Yesterday was a misfire because I had the drums misaligned - but Fabrizio came to the rescue and mixed this properly! We hope you enjoy our collaboration!
Earth, Can You Hear me Now? is a rock composition in 17 notes per octave (17 edo, 17…

You say
I doesn’t matter what I say
All the time we spent is gone now
Taken out
You cry
I'm not even asking why
Your head's up in the sky now
Your alive
When I ask you to explain…
A pop-rock thingy recorded in 2006. Can't remember too much about it except that it was a new song then, I spent an inordinate amount of time on the lyrics and arrangement, and wasn't that happy with it when I was done(!).
I quite like it now…
This is an oldie. Recorded in 2005. It was the first recording I finished on a DAW, but I'd played it a lot in the last band I was in (around the turn of the century). I think it was written in the mid 90s. It's about one of the casualties of…

As turning the pages of memory, randomly and lento. All that I know, is seen not as it was actually, but with age and experience (...dusted?). How can I forget? Do I need to?

Good song! My feet are tapping! Let's hear the story about the Allman Bros concert.

These damn dead guys are always playin slide guitar better than me! First Duane Allman and now Cobain! Lol!
Your slide guitar sounds like Kurt Cobain haha very well done man!

Very cool, yeah, it kinda sounds like one first few tracks on Bowie's Low album.
That is crazy how it showed that info before I processed all info...

Haaa! Maybe this is better.
Like this one. Kinda tricky lyric though - I can see why you haven't sung it lol
Haa...doesnt feel much like Christmas these days....hi temps today 106 degrees....it was 116 on tuesday....
Merry Christmas ....".
lol Been trying to make some sort of reasoned critique/comment, but I'm laughing too much
Now this one grabbed me immediately. Really well put together.

Ah, THE main man, this should get some response, the great human to walk the Earth, Jimi, or was he ??!!??!!
A really fine song.....great sounds...

Nice playing.
Beautiful....
Dark, reminds me of Soundgarden. Good stuff.
With the heaviness!
Love how this builds up. Nice songwriting.:)
Love tunes like this.
This is really nifty tune. Love the subdued vocal. It opens up really well when the strings enter. I agree CK, can only here it on alonetone.
Great song. Love the choice of instruments.
Love the lyrics.
The opening vox kill me. Powerful!
Masterful......
Golden! Cant say enuff again.
What a voice.
Retro tune....bringing me back to bands like Simple Minds. Nice solo in there as well.
I see what Citizen ref's Riders with the heavy trem on the guitar. Nice funky tune. I would pay and stay to see this band.
Perfect...you have to be tearing up the local scene.
This is so damn good. My my...the way it is supposed to be played.
Oh hell yeah! Stoked!
This very darn good. Your vocals fit perfect over a jazz tune like this. Love it.
Hell yeah bluesman! Stingy playin! Never heard a blues about influenza.
