his song is just an experiment or at least started that way. Based on an "Ultrabeat" groove ( the only loops ) I added parts and sang an "Off the cuff" vocal and mixed and tweaked. Mostly Midi parts played through my cheesy Midi controller but…
White Light was written in June along with 10 other "Off the cuff" tunes. Just before the great flood in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Our house was flooded and slowly being rebuilt. This is 4th of the 10 to be recorded.

A new version of an old song I wrote back in the late 80's. This version is prob a bit too slow but it's one of those things you get used to after awhile. This recording was also suppose to be a "study" version and then the real recording made…

i had fun playing my keys along with this one...what the progression you are using? I seem to have found Emaj to be prediominant. Along with c# d and e in part of the catchy melody line?? I'd have to play around with it some more to be sure...thanks for sharing!

I had this old song sitting around and decided to re-do it. The chorus used to be slightly different.
The drums are from "Drummer" and the song is played using "Pointless Picks" Recorded in "Garage Band" and Mastered in "Tracktion."
This is a re-do of "Up on the hill" done the conventional way. I wrote the words 1st.
This is my 1st attempt at using Logic Express. I should learn most of the basics by spring. :)

This song has sat around for quite awhile with a different melody. While the old melody was alright I thought it was too sappy. So I changed it.
I don't care for this recording, I think it's too busy. It's one of those things that get out of hand…

Sudara says: Just found this on my iPod.
Basically it was the first full mix of the tune, before it passed back to glu and then back to Sudara for the "original" version.
This is heavier, more energy, less fraility, and in Sudara's opinion a…
Okay so I enjoyed doing Glubotism1 enough that I thought I'd take a second crack at it. Same tools but took a different approach to how I used Stylus RMX and I introduced some of it's built-in effects on some of the parts. Also I bused RMX and…
Originally conceived as a mellow-ish, Stephen Stills sounding number (at least the verses), then the chorus came to me out of nowhere and turned the whole song on it's ear. I think that was for the better. I have to admit that I surprised myself…
Hey, notice the new forum section... Track Therapy? discuss with me: http://alonetone.com/forums/track-therapy/topics/help-me-find-direction-for-this-track
Mr Glu
I like your little ditty. I think it has a lot of promise.
The one thing that I believe it needs is a "B" part. You are basically playing the same chord progression over and over again. Not too bad since it's only 2:29 long but a B part would help. I don't know what key its in but lets just say its G. Your B part should be in some other rel chord starting in C or D and progress for 8 or so bars somewhere in the middle of the tune. Just to mix it up.
I hope this is what your looking for.
I do not know anyone named Lilly Child. I just thought the name sounded good.
This is third of 10 "Off the cuff" songs written last June. I have only recorded 4 of the 10

Hi Gilbert, hey long time! Lovely, gentle song here with most pleasing lyrics. Good one!
Those vocal harmonies are fantastic. Wow - I love it!
Cool tune - Good vibe to it!
I'm really diggin' your style. Nice chunky junkyard groove here.
Very cool tune...fun and groovy. Very well sung...a unique voice.
This is awesome! Love the voice... A lot... Great stuff! Thanks for your comments too! For "Trinity Jam" the guitar is an old Ibanez RG.
Sweet! I liked the old version but this one is better! Great lyrics!

Nice!
0029 had no sound and this has. I liked 0029 better
Crazy title but nice sound.
I hear nothing. Is something wrong?
I like the solid sound and beat!
A fun tune for sure. Well constructed.
Great job and great sound. I like the Live sound you get on the softer parts.
