A little background to that comment perhaps... recently went to a seminar on recording acoustic guitar and I was struck by how difficult it is to get a decent sound and how even that decent sound pales in comparison to the live take. Thus, wish I was there to hear it in person.
great guitar work..reminds me of Lindsay Buckingham meets John Martyn meets Nick Drake...also very smooth vocals...also like how the song morphs into something totally different as it progresses...

Also nearly unchanged from the demo version, although it still needs a bit of revision. Kept the title this time.

Sloane did me a favor & played an electric guitar part on this one. I had hoped to work with her more on this project, but she wound up leaving town to help take care for a recovering family member.

You asked me where these rumors start.
"I don't know," I said and crossed my heart.
But I told you I did not hope to die.
You said you can't trust no more.
Why start now? You never did before.
Now I just have to pause and wonder…
This is an experiment in stacking real time delay/looped tracks that had no preconceived connections... all overdubs were done without listening to previously recorded tracks. I hear some very interesting synchronizations.... You?

Great song, great tribute. BK was a big influence on my playing.
Love this, definitely has that sixties krautrock feel to it.
Great wordless melody folk-jazz thing going on here JMT. David Crosby could do no better.
