A test run with my new Line 6 DL4 delay pedal. Recorded with a handheld mp3 recorder, hence the ambient room noise. The DL4 was fed into a BOSS loop pedal also. No overdubs, all on the fly.

Remastered all the tunes in the Mr. Faraday playlist to a higher dB.
Still figuring out this mastering thang. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Oh, and happy new year everyone!
Sunday aftnoon (11/09/08) took the reso down to the Fort Worth Modern Art Museum and recorded some doodling inside the Serra sculpture Vortex. No effects added, all natural reverb inside the structure.
This track is off of the third CD. This is an improv recorded one afternoon in my basement recording studio. Recorded with my Huss and Dalton MJC in standard tuning.
This track is off the third CD. It reminds me of the feeling that one has when having to do something that we'd rather not do. Recorded with my Godall 12 in standard tuning.
I sent the tracks for this tune to a friend of mine who owns a professional studio. I gave him no instructions on how to mix it, as I wanted someone else's take on the music. He created a very dry, intimate mix, focusing more on the acoustic guitars…
This track is a second attempt to put Kavin's beautiful track [Poor Boy](http://alonetone.com/kavin/tracks/poor-boy) through my Steve Reich style phase shifting looper.
In the first I had it play through the whole track but I didn't think it…
Comments on kavin.'s stuff
mystic and evokes a hot suummer to me.
Oh, Oh, Oh, ... EXCELLENT!
Kavin...this is BRILLIANT!!!!
Thanks CE. A little delay and metal slide on the low strings. The "whale song" is reversed in the middle of the song.
This is great. I have been trying to figure out how to do this. So how (pray tell) do you get Humpback to sing guitar?
Phenomenal! Gorgeous!
You've gotta love a new toy! This makes me miss my headrush pedal.... :-( Great atmosphere you've created here.
nice job on this one.
Great sound!
Lovely! That is a sweet pedal, right there... a great track for a dark, cold Sunday afternoon.
I love this stuff...you make me wanna play some guitar, man!
oh, yeah, that's cool...love when the picking kicks in.
I only wish I could get acoustic sounds that good!!!! Great job
Man, it doesn't get better than this one. Amazing what one can do with a just an acoustic guitar.
Very nice- I hear a bit of Anthony Phillips influence in places. Nice mix of styles

cool man. Another excellent piece of art.
Boosted db a bit to get it on par with the rest of the tunes on the EP.
Hey I can hear a french touch like in St germain here !
Added bass guitar and remixed.
Comments made by kavin.
Yeah! This sounds like it could have been on Clapton's first solo album.
Nice playing. Inspiring!
Great stuff Howard. Thanks for uploading these 3 albums. Wonderful listening for all us pickers.
Wow Rick, I guess I missed this when you put it up! That was great fun, thanks. The koto sound was done with an iPod Touch app, by the way.
Wonderful remix, I like the guitars up front on this one. An alonetone guitar favorite, for me.
This popped up in itunes and I thought it was Yes! Great guitars and arrangement!
Interesting. Tends to bring out elements that just whizz by in the original. Cool, thanks.
Thanks yawl. @mmi: everytime I record acoustic gtr it's always an experiment, and never seem to get it "real". But we keep trying.
Hail yuh!
Love this rockin' stuff. Thanks.
Me too. This song. Gonna be in my head all day and that's ok. Good one.
Great to hear these again!
Well done, from the heart. Let their memory live on in this.
Yeah, sure. I like the violin and words at the beginning.
Thanks guys. New version has harmonic and eq fixes.
This is greatness! Has me reaching for my 12-string!
Love it! Alan Parsons meets Fright Night!
@ NA, yep it's a SS track, but no vocal. I added gtr. Thanks man.
Wanted to bring this back up front for Halloween. A great reading with cool sound fx!
Great, Tool-ish bass work!
